The aroma is dominated by the smell of alcohol with hints of roasted malt and coffee. The mouthfeel is full bodied, creamy, and carbonation is average. The flavour is dark chocolate, buts, roasted malt, and coffee. The alcohol is noticeable, but not as prevalent as in the aroma.

Far and away the darkest IPA I've tried to date. Dark amber with a thin tan head. Aroma is pine and citrus with a hint of caramel. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour is well balanced between sweet caramel malt, and citrusy hops, not quite grapefruit citrus.

The aroma is roasted malt, cocoa, and hits of licorice. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour definitely has chocolate milk characteristics, although it is dark chocolate. I liked this beer, but not as much as their Morning Brew Coffee Cream Stout.

The aroma is nutty malt, weak caramel, and herbal hops. The mouthfeel is weak to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is slighty spiced with notes of nuts, caramel, and hops. My least favourite Wellington limited beer in a while.

The beer pours a translucent dark brown colour (when held to light) with a thin white creamy head. First aroma is dish soap, followed by some nut malt, roast, and coffee notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour is coffee, chocolate, and some sweet caramel hints. Not very hoppy.

The beer poured an opaque dark brown with an off white head...not near as dark as the St. Bernardus or Rochefort quads. The aroma knocked my socks off....fresh figs and plums, with warm yeast and sweet malt. More than satisfying. The mouthfeel was full-bodied, with mild carbonation - yet a bit thinner than other quads. The flavour again was quite complex and full of flavours when compared to St. Bernardus, and didn't have the alcohol taste and feel I get with the Rochefort. The bitter aftertaste was even pleasant after the sweet malt and fruit tones. On aroma and taste alone, this is the best beer I have ever had. I'm knocking off points for appearance and mouthfeel as the beer was 'lighter' than I was expecting.

Plenty of effervescence to keep the head alive. Aroma is dark malt, sugar, plums, and licorice. Definitely a very sweet nose. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with plenty of carbonation. The flavour is sweet malt, dark fruit, yeast (and lots of it), some anise, and a bit of peppery spice. Not as good as the 12, but an outstanding beer all the same.

The beer pours a hazed gold colour, with a very thin white soapy head, despite a vigourous pour. Aroma is caramel, weak grapefruit, and grass. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavour is caramel, weak citrus, weak molasses, and grass. If I was blindfolded while tasting this....I would have sworn it was a very thin Scotch Ale....that's how much I notice the molasses taste.

Drinkable for sure, but not very beer like.

The aroma is caramel malt, citrus fruit, and pine. A throwback to the IPAs of a decade ago. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, and slightly above average carbonation. The flavour is very well balanced between the grains and caramel malt tones and the citrusy bitterness of the hops. I like this beer and wonder how good it would have been less than 7 months old.

The aroma is biscuits, cereals, some citrus, some light fruit, and some herbal hops. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied, slightly creamy, with average carbonation. The flavour tilts towards the malt side of things with notes of bread and cereal, but there is a slight bitter note in the finish.

The mouthfeel is similar to yesterday’s beer in that it forces you to pucker, is medium bodied, and carbonation is average. I can definitely taste the kiwi in the beer, as well as some yeast flavours. The finish is very tart.
