1762 | Ommegang Game of Thrones Royal Reserve 003: Mother Of Dragons | United States | Ale | 3.4
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 6 750ml bottle
6.60% ABV
Bottled On: October 31, 2018
Best Before: October 31, 2020
LCBO #457 (Toronto, Ontario, Canada – Yonge / Eglinton)
March 9, 2019
$13.80
The beer pours a slightly translucent coca-cola colour when held to a strong white light, with a huge frothy light tan coloured head which lasts a while. The aroma is quite complex as both the tart cherries, and burnt wood are prominent. There are hints of roasted malt, chocolate, and coffee as well, but it is the tart cherries and wood that dominate. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied, slightly creamy, and with above average carbonation. The flavour is both chocolatey and tart at the same time. There are also notes of roast and coffee in the mix. Looks good, smells good, feels good, but does not taste good. Nor am I a fan of the dark frosted bottle as I can’t see how much yeast was left on the bottom. |

1769 | Omnipollo Mimmi Mimosa | Sweden | Wild Ale | 3.2
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6 473ml can
7.00% ABV
Canned On: June 24, 2020
LCBO Outlet #649 (Milton, Ontario, Canada - Sobey's Plaza)
November 23, 2020
$4.50
The look and smell of the beer is that or orange juice as it’s a nice opaque orange colour with a very short-lived head, despite a heavy pour. Again, the aroma is all oranges with a hint of perfumey hops and yeast. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with a lot of carbonation. The flavour is very much orange juice as well with hints of grass and hops. There is a belly warming alcohol presence in the sense you feel it, but don’t taste it. It smells and tastes good, but not what I want in a beer. |

1774 | Orange Snail Brewers Iron Pig | Canada | American Pale Ale | 3.1
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 The beer pours a slightly hazed golden colour with a bubbly white cap that recedes within a couple of minutes to thin layer of lacing. The aroma is light hops, malt, and yeast. There is a macro feel to the aroma. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation.
