The aroma is yeast, pepper, caramel, grass, and light fruits. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The pepper is very up front in the flavour followed by funky yeast and grassy notes and finishing with some bitter hoppiness. I liked it. |

1627 | Muskoka Moonlight Kettle Series 2018 - 12: Gingerbrewed Man | Canada | Brown Ale | 3.8
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 340ml draught
6.0% ABV
C’est What? (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
December 14, 2018
$6.64
The beer poured a solid dark brown colour, almost black, with a creamy tan coloured head. The aroma was pretty basic with the roasted malt notes and ginger providing almost all the aromatics. Any nutty and hoppish notes were buried behind a wall of ginger. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with above average carbonation. The flavour was outstanding to my palate with notes of ginger, roasted malt, and coffee. I really enjoyed this. |

1628 | Muskoka Moonlight Kettle Series 2019 - 04: Honey I'm Bock | Canada | Bock | 3.4
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 6 340ml draught
6.5% ABV
C’est What? (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
May 17, 2019
$6.64
The beer poured a translucent light amber colour with a creamy light brown head. The colour puts it somewhere between a maibock and a dunkler bock. The aroma is light hints of dark fruit, caramel, roasted malt, earthy hops, and grass. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is unfortunately dominated by notes of alcohol. This overpowers the mild notes of dark fruit, grass, and yeast. Looks good, smells good, tastes not so good. |

(Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
October 11, 2019
$8.25
The beer poured a translucent golden brown with a white head which lasted a while and laced decently. The aroma was grass, herbal hops, and light yeast. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was nothing like the aroma. The first flavour I got was pepper, followed by cold sweet coffee and grass. This was a very interesting beer. |

(Toronto, Ontraio, Canada)
February 28, 2020
$9.50
The beer poured a solid black with a long lasting thin brown ring serving as a cap. Lacing was generous. The aroma was roasted malt, coffee, and licorice. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation, a bit light bodied for a porter. The flavour was smoked wood, roasted malt, coffee, and hints of sweet plums. An excellent tasting beer. |

1631 | Muskoka Moonlight Kettle Series 2020 - 04: Late Bloomer | Canada | Kölsch | 3.7
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 473ml can
5.0% ABV
Best Before: July 19, 2020
LCBO Outlet #649 (Milton, Ontario, Canada - Sobey's Plaza)
April 29, 2020
$3.95
The beer pours a deep translucent ruby red with an uneven rocky film for a cap. The can says ‘Kolsch’ on it, but the aroma on this baby is very un-Kolsch like. A lot of tart berry notes and funky grains to be noticed. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with lively carbonation. The flavour leans more to the elderberries than the blueberries, but there is no tartness in the flavour. Finish is lightly bitter. Very good beer, but still wouldn’t be a favourite. |

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 473ml can
6.0% ABV
Best Before: October 10, 2021
LCBO Outlet #631 (Milton, Ontario, Canada – Main / Thompson)
November 9, 2021
$3.95
The beer pours a hazed medium gold colour with a generous rock white head which dissipates to a film and leaves generous lacing. The aroma is cereal grains, yeast, citrus, and floral hops. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is nicely balanced between the malt and the hops. The finish is bitter. There is a flavour on the tongue I recognize but can’t quite place. A solid beer from the Muskokas. |

1637 | Muskoka Pilsner Light | Canada | Bohemian / Czech Pilsener | 2.9
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 473ml can
4.0% ABV
Milton LCBO Outlet #1 (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
July 27, 2010
The beer poured a translucent medium gold with a huge bubbly white head which quickly disappeared. The aroma was grassy malt and weak floral hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was grainy malt, some weak hops, and a bitter metallic finish - but the flavour was certainly better than a lot of 'non-light' pale lagers in North America. |

1638 | Muskoka Shinnicked Stout | Canada | Stout | 3.0
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 473ml can
5.2% ABV
Best Before: June 5, 2019
LCBO #457 (Toronto, Ontario, Canada – Yonge / Eglinton)
January 11, 2019
$3.45
The beer pours a coca-cola colour with absolutely no head. Kind of disappointing from the head perspective. The aroma is all roasted malt and coffee with a minor hint of vanilla. Not much in the way of multiple dimensions here. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with below average carbonation. I am now pretty sure that this beer is flat or old. Either way, quite disappointed. The flavour is similar to the aroma with a lot of roasted malts and bitter coffee notes hiding a weak vanilla and chocolate presence. I may try again down the road but this was a disappointment. |

This was a pretty forgettable beer, but knocked Greece off of my country list. |

Very lively in the chalice. The aroma is tropical citrus fruits, light spices, grains, and yeast. More Belgian than IPA in my opinion. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with slightly above average carbonation. The flavour is more IPA than Belgian with the tropical fruit notes front and centre before giving way to grass and a hint of yeast. A very good beer. |
