The beer pours a slightly hazed caramel colour with a quarter inch tan coloured cap cap that slowly disappears into a thin film. The aroma is grainy, sweet malt, and toffee. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly creamy and with average carbonation. Flavour is on the sweet side with notes of toffee and bread. THis could be quite sessionable for a 6.5% beer.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly creamy and with average carbonation. Everything about this beer is similar to the Hen's tooth I had for lunch with the flavouring except the alcohol is more noticeable in the flavour of this one, and the colour is more red. Still quite good, but not as good as a Hen's Tooth.

The beer poured a translucent red with a thin tan head. The aroma was caramel malt, some nuts, and a little yeast. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, well carbonated, and crisp. The flavour is nutty malt, with a nice hop balance, a very enjoyable beer.

The aroma is heavy on the raspberry. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied, and heavily carbonated............but not quite champagne-like. The flavour is that of a small amount of hops combined with a lot of raspberries.

The beer poured a beautiful translucent red with a thin creamy light tan coloured head that stuckj around. The aroma was tart cherries, some wheat malt, and spice. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with weak carbonation, mildly disappointing for the style. The flavour is tart, bold, with definite cherry hints, and a tart and bitter finish.

Effervescence is high. The aroma was sweet malt notes, light caramel, floral hops, and yeast. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was overly sweet with strong caramel flavour. This was augmented by hints of yeast and grass. The finish was bitter.

The flavour is ligt toast and caramel, but there’s a nagging tanginess that takes over the finish.

I’m not getting the coconut and cream cheese notes I expect from a Nanaimo Bar, although as an Imperial Porter, this is quite good.

The flavour is berries and cream with notes of citrus and grass. The finish is more tart than bitter.

The aroma was citrusy hops, grainy malt, and pine. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium-high carbonation. The flavour was very bitter, with a citrus rind taste. Maybe too bitter.

A decent IPA.

The aroma is a combination of tart and sweet tropical citrus fruit notes, light grass, and herbal hops. The mouthfeel is thin bodied with average carbonation. The flavour starts off with a puckering tart fruity note that gives way to some cereal grain, a slight bitter finish. Pretty good for a 2.4&#37; beer.

Flavour was citrusy hops with a lemon lolipop taste to it, some grains, and a bitter finish. <br> <br> Tried bottled version on February 16, 2012. Beer is a paler gold colour, and all traces of the lemon are gone. The bottled version would make a great session beer.
