The beer pours a slightly hazed caramel colour with a quarter inch tan coloured cap cap that slowly disappears into a thin film. The aroma is grainy, sweet malt, and toffee. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly creamy and with average carbonation. Flavour is on the sweet side with notes of toffee and bread. THis could be quite sessionable for a 6.5% beer. |

The beer pours a slightly translucent caramel colour with a generous light tan coloured cap cap that slowly disappears into a thin film. The aroma is grainy, sweet malt, and toffee. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly creamy and with average carbonation. Everything about this beer is similar to the Hen's tooth I had for lunch with the flavouring except the alcohol is more noticeable in the flavour of this one, and the colour is more red. Still quite good, but not as good as a Hen's Tooth. |
