Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 April 9. 2022
LCBO Outlet #649 (Milton, Ontario, Canada – Sobey’s Plaza)
473ml can
5.0% ABV
Canned On: January 10, 2022
$2.70
The beer pours a translucent gold colour with a generous white head which lasts a while before receding to a thin film on top. Lacing is generous. The aroma is bready malts, yeast, and herbal hops. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is grainy malt and light bitter hops. Original score upgraded a bit.

original review
341ml bottle
5.0% ABV
Molson Canadian, what beer's all about. Or so the commercials said. This was the first beer I ever tried. It is an alright beer to grow your chops on. This beer is a golden colour with a white head that lasts a while. It has a smell of malt and corn. It has a decent taste replete with a strong aftertaste. It has a very crisp mouthfeel with the right amount of carbonation for my palate. I think the best memories I have of this beer are all those commercials in the 80s that had bikini clad women.........what man with a beer belly doesn't like bikini clad women? |

Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 250ml can
6.0% ABV
Milton LCBO Outlet #1 (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
January 27, 2011
The beer poured a translucent medium gold with a short lived white bubble head. The aroma was sweet grainy malt. The mouthfeel was weak-bodied with less than ample carbonation. The flavour was gross...sweet grainy malt and nothing else. |

1578 | Molson Canadian 67 | Canada | Light / Lite Lager | 1.1
Aroma: 2 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 341ml bottle
3.0% ABV
Milton LCBO Outlet #1 (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
July 29, 2013
The beer pours a veryt pale straw yellow with almost no head and plenty of effervescence, think water with a hint of yellow food colouring. The aroma was grains and phenolic notes. The mouthfeel was watery with high carbonation - again, it was very much like carbonated water. There was not much flavour to be tasted, quite grassy for what was detectable. |

1579 | Molson Canadian Ice | Canada | Pale Lager | 2.2
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 5 March 1, 1990
Boo Sports Bar, The (Guelph, Ontario, Canada – University of Guelph, University Centre)
341ml bottle
5.50% ABV
$2.00
This was the first ice beer that I tried and I was pleasantly surprised. It had a floral aroma that I was unable to identify but was pleasant to the nostrils. The colour was beer like, a clear golden colour. It was very crisp to the taste with no clear identifiable flavours. A beer that goes down too damn easy. |

1580 | Molson Canadian Wheat Lager | Canada | Pale Lager | 2.4
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 473ml can
4.5% ABV
King/Spadina LCBO Outlet (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
May 5, 2013
Beer pours a hazed pale gold with a frothy white cap that didn't last long. The aroma was very similar to a regular Molson Canadian, not much to give any impression that this is a wheat beer. Mouthfeel was medium bodied with mild carbonation...certainly not as thin as a Molson Canadian. The flavour is a little more robust than Canadian with less phenolic notes and a hint of wheat. Still rather metallic and tart however. |

1581 | Molson Common Bond | Canada | Strong Lager | 2.8
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 473ml can
6.1% ABV
LCBO Outlet #649 (Milton, Ontario, Canada - Sobey's Plaza)
August 14, 2021
$2.90
The beer pours a translucent light copper colour with a creamy tan coloured head and plenty of effervesecnec. The aroma is caramel, rye, grass, and alcohol (is there a reason that the stronger a Molson product gets, the less likely you are to smell any hops?). The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The predominant flavours are caramel and whiskey. The alcohol is definitely noticeable. Interesting, and not as bad as I thought it would be. |

1582 | Molson Dry | Canada | Pale Lager | 3.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 September 29, 1994
Don Cherry’s Restaurant (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
341ml bottle
5.5% ABV
$2.85
This used to be a slightly better than average beer at an average price. First available in the early 90s when dry beer was all the rage. They have revised it in recent years with a slightly different recipe and a lower price. Originally advertised as a beer with no aftertaste. They lied. Molson Dry pours a light golden colour with little or no head. The aroma is pleasant to the nostrils, not overly powerful. The flavour and texture are very smooth. This is a beer that goes down easily......too easily. An old standby. |

1583 | Molson Export Ale | Canada | Blonde Ale | 2.2
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 January 15, 1987 ,br> Brass Taps (Guelph, Ontario, Canada – University of Guelph, University Centre)
300ml draught
5.0%
$1.50
Not a very good beer in my opinion. It pours a deep gold colour with a bubbly head. The colour is still translucent but certainly darker than Moslon Canadian and Fosters. The head barely lasts 30 seconds. The aroma isn't anything to write home about, in fact, it is very skunky at best. It is very harsh on the tongue with a lot of carbonation. The taste is a bit harsh too, too much bitterness mixed in with a burnt malty taste. It didn't smell all that great, didn't taste all that great, and was not an instant favourite. At least it looked like beer. But not one I would recommend to friends or beer lovers anywhere.

June 28, 2007
Hard Rock Café (Toronto, Ontario, Canada – 1 Blue Jays Way)
341ml bottle
4.9% ABV
$6.65
This beer poured a translucent golden brown with a thin white head that quickly dissipated to lacing. The aroma was sickly grassy malt, with a touch of hops. The mouthfeel was thin bodied, almost watery, and highly carbonated. The flavour was very grainy, with some weak hoppish tones. |

1584 | Molson Fireside | Canada | Schwarzbier | 2.6
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 473ml can
4.6% ABV
Canned On: August 22, 2019
LCBO Outlet #010 (Toronto, Ontario, Canada - Summerhill)
November 6, 2019
$2.85
The beer pours a translucent coca-cola colour with a generous light tan coloured head which lasts for a few minutes. The aroma is dominated by roasted malts and coffee. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is weak roasted malts and coffee with a weak bitter finish. This wasn’t a bad beer until the flavour score killed it! |

1585 | Molson Golden | Canada | Pale Lager | 2.2
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 April 1, 1987
Gift
341ml bottle
5.0% ABV
$0.00
I tried this beer during the 1980s when they launched a large Canadian campaign to get beer drinkers drinking Golden again. The campaign did nothing more than make fun of the beer's name (Moslen Godlen, Molden Golson, etc). This was also the brand featured on all The Molson's commercials. Sadly, this beer is no longer part of Molson Canada's lineup (as per their website). Anyway, the last time I tried this, the beer was golden in colour with almost no head. The aroma was weak with a grassy tinge to it. It was very crisp and clear on the tongue with weak carbonation. The taste was also weak, not watery, but not very beer-y either. It eventually went on to be associated with 'Old Man's beer' along with Labatt 50. I would give a better rating, but the beer was just not that memorable. Not bad, but not worth a second taste. |

1586 | Molson John H. R. Molson & Bros. 1908 Historic Pale Ale | Canada | American Pale Ale | 3.6
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7 341ml bottle
6.8% ABV
Milton Millside Street Beer Store (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
April 5, 2016
$1.83
The beer poured a light golden-red colour with some haze and and a creamy off-white head which lingered a while. The aroma was cereal malt, some light spice, yeast, and floral hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was malt-forward with bready notes, but the finish had a more definied hop presence than any other Molson beer I've tried. |

The aroma was sweet grainy malt, weak hops, and unknown foul smells. The mouthfeel was weak bodied/hollow, with mild carbonation. The flavour was corn, sweet malt, and gunky tasting stuff. Quite sickening actually. |

Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 473ml can
5.0% ABV
Milton LCBO Outlet #1 (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
November 18, 2013
This is all the rage with a former girlfriend (from Saskatchewan) and seeing it as a single at a local LCBO I had to try and see what the fuss was about. It pours a pale gold colour with a white fluffy head and a lot of effervescence. The aroma is grain/corn, diacetyl, and weak hops. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavour is quite grainy, but that's expected for a macro lager. |

Effervescence is high. The aroma is grains, dish soap, and yeast. The mouthfeel is watery with average carbonation. The flavour is akin to beer flavoured water. Take a Molson Canadian, dilute with an equal part water, and voila….Molson Ultra. |

I’ve heard it was much better before interprovincial barriers caused the mass production. It is not a beer that I would go out of my way to buy, but if it is all that is available, it can be quite refreshing. It pours a golden yellow colour that is very clear. The aroma is grainy with some yeasty aftersmells. The mouthfeel is crisp and clear as a lager should be, some mild carbonation on the tongue. The taste is bland and non-descript with some hints of malt and grass. |

This would be a decent session beer |

The aroma is weak grains, wet metal, and weak hops. The mouthfeel is watery, and medium high carbonation. The flavour is not much more than swill flavoured water. This is to be avoided at all costs, even if you're the designated driver. |

The aroma is caramel, grass, yeast, and herbal hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The dominant flavour is definitely the caramel with some hints of molasses, grass, and a nice bitter hoppy finish that lingers on the back of the tongue for a minute or two. The caramel and molasses sweetness is nicely balanced by the finishing bitterness. |

The aroma is roasted malt, coffee, and notes of vanilla. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation….disappointing for a beer labelling itself as a ‘London Stout’. The flavour is roasted malt and watered down coffee. Not a great beer but not a bad beer. Certainly shows that a ‘large’ Canadian brewer can brew decent beers |
