The flavour has a definite metallic tang to it. mixed in with sweet grainy notes. I have two more of these I may wait a while to drink.

The flavour is grainy malt, a slight sweetness, and finishes with a mild bitter finish. A good beer.

The flavour is dominated by the chipotle with grains, and caramel notes in the background. The chipotle heat can be felt all the way to the stomach.

The aroma is wheat, tropical fruit, citrus, and light spices. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied, with average carbonation. Flavour is more grassy than wheat, although there is a definite grapefruity flavour among the citrus. Finish is bitter. Alcohol is slightly noticeable.

Not a lot of hop character in either the nose or the palate. Quite disappointing for a doppelbock.

The mouthfeel was full-bodied and creamy with mild carbonation. The flavour was sweet malt, roasted malt, and vanilla. Sweet, but not sickingly so. Very refreshing and drinkable.

The flavour was sweet and tart blueberry flavours mixed in with some grainy malt tones. Not a lot of wheat (if any) and not a lot of complexity.

The aroma is pineapple, mango, and orange with some grassy notes thrown in to make it beery. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is dominated by the pineapple flavours with hints of other citrus fruits such as orange and passion fruit in the mix. A very flavourful beer, but more of what I associate with Australian and New Zealand hops and not what I associate with the American west coast &#40;I love grapefruity west coast IPAs&#41;

Possibly a symptom of being 5 months old. The aroma is wheat malt, some wet cardboard, and weak floral hops. The mouthfeel is light bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is watered down wheat, with some bubble gum sweetness and weak bitter hop finish. Not very good.

The mouthfeel was watery with mild carbonation (despite the apparent effervescence in the glass). The flavour was weak lime, old grains, and metal. Not enjoyable, and nothing I would ever buy for myself!

I tried it a few times here in Canada (brewed by Molson under license) and was pleasantly surprised. After moving to Memphis Tennessee, I tried it there, and was even more pleasantly surprised, an American brewed beverage that was better than it's Canadian brewed counterpart (unlike Budwesier, Coors, Coors Light, and Miller High Life). For a long time, this was the one American beer I came back to from time to time. The aroma is pleasant with some slight malty tones. The colour is a light golden colour similar to straw. The taste is slightly malty with some grassy undertones. It is very crisp on the tongue with some mild carbonation. A nice refreshing beer for an American macrobrew.<br> <br> March 11, 2015 <br> Another beer being revisted on Cheapie Wednesday. The beer pours a translucent medium gold colour with a short-lived snow white bubbly head. The aroma is grainy malts, vomit, and cooked vegetables. The mouthfeel is weak to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is not that good and comparable to Canadian stock ales with milky cereal notes and metallic finishes.

The beer is a nice light gold colour that is reminiscent of American lagers. There is no discernable smell to speak of nor is there any discernable taste. The mouthfeel is very watery with hints of carbonation. Overall this is not a beer that I would try again, nor is it a beer that I would recommend to others.. It gets a 3 overall simply because they had the Bottom Bottle Opener at one time. Unfortunately the case we got contained bottles that had obviously been used many times before because the glass around the opener had been well chipped/worn away meaning that we needed the bottle opener anyway.

The beer is a very very light gold colour that is reminiscent of American lagers. There is no discernable smell to speak of nor is there any discernable taste. The mouthfeel is very watery with few hints of any carbonation. Overall this is not a beer that I would try again, nor is it a beer that I would recommend to others. This beer led to my worst beer experience ever. I was given this at a bar in Memphis Tennessee. It was clear enough that I could read the newspaper through the full glass. No aroma to speak of, and very little flavour. I asked the waitress what it was. She replied, It's 'Milwaukee's Best'. I replied that if that was Milwaukee's best, I would hate to taste their worst. I was promptly asked to leave the bar.

It pours a very hazed orange gold with a thin creamy head which slowly recedes to a long lasting ring. The aroma is tart tropical citrus, grains, and funk. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with below average carbonation. The flavour is well balanced between the malted grains and the tart tropical fruit with the tartness lingering on the tongue for a while. Not bad for a year old gose, but I do wonder how it would have been if it was fresher.

The taste is what really wins me over. The taste is crisp and clean, and smooth. This use to be one of my favourite wintertime beers.
