The aroma is very citrusy, in a tropical fruit sort of way. There are also notes of grains and earthy hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is well balanced between the malt and the bitter citrusy notes of the hops. Very easy drinking. |

1528 | Mill Street Capelin Hound Session IPA | Canada | IPA | 3.5
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 7 355ml bottle
4.20% ABV
Bottled On: May 2, 2018
Main / Bronte LCBO Outlet (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
October 6, 2018
$2.49
The beer pours a hazed golden orange colour with planty of bubbles clinging to the side of the glass and a quarter inch creamy off-white head which lasts a few minutes. The aroma is passion fruit and citrus with some grainy malt and herbal hops as well. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. A surprising hearty body for a session IPA. The flavour is a downer however, the fruity and citrus notes found in the aroma are very weak on the tongue with the grassy notes dominating the flavour. A decent beer nonetheless. |

1529 | Mill Street Chocolate Blossom | Canada | Chocolate Stout | 3.4
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 473ml can
6.8% ABV
Canned On: September 11, 2019
LCBO Outlet # 007 (Toronto, Ontario, Canada - Eglinton / Mt. Pleasant)
October 2, 2019
$3.95
The beer pours a solid black colour with a huge foamy dark brown head which quickly recedes to a creamy ring. The aroma is dark chocolate, coffee, cherries, vanilla, and roasted malt. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour brings a new element to this beer as there are elements of charred wood in the flavour that you don’t get in the aroma. Chocolate abounds with hints of cherry and coffee. Doesn’t hold a candle to the old Black Oak Double Chocolate Cherry Stout of yesteryear however. |

1530 | Mill Street Chuckwagon Wheat | Canada | American Wheat | 3.1
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 355ml bottle
5.3% ABV
Bottled On: August 8, 2018
Main / Bronte LCBO Outlet (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
October 8, 2018
$2.49
The beer pours a hazed light straw colour with a generous white head that lasts a few minutes. The aroma is wheat, spices, bubble gum, and banana. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is sweet up front with flavours of wheat and light fruit, with a mildly tart finish. While it is closer to a hefeweizen than an American Wheat, it is not a beer I would try again. |

The beer poured a blackish-brown colour with a creamy tan coloured head that lasted and produced a thin film down the side of the glass. The aroma was fairly simple with huints of roasted malt and coffee. The mouthfeel was creamy and full bodied, with mild carbonation. The flavour was extremely refreshing, and great. There were the same hints of chocolate in the flavour, along with a nice bitter finish. |

1534 | Mill Street Don Valley Bench Estates Ale | Canada | American Wheat | 2.6
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 355ml bottle
5.0% ABV
Milton LCBO Outlet #1 (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
May 17, 2013
Lawnmower beer #3. The beer pours a hazed golden yellow colour with a thin white ring of a head, yet a thinner smaller ring than the shandy produced. The aroma is light wheat, grains, and yeast. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with slightly above average carbonation. The flavour has a light fruity sweetness to it with a dose of wheat and grass. The extra carbonation does come as a surprise at first. A one and done beer at best. |

1539 | Mill Street Hopped and Confused | Canada | IPA | 2.3
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 473ml can
4.7% ABV
Main/Bronte LCBO Outlet (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
April 20, 2018
$3.25
The beer pours a medium urine yellow colour with a thin white film that stands in for a head. Very hazy and very unappealing to look at. The aroma is light tropical fruit, some grass, and some lemony scents. The mouthfeel is watery with below averahe carbonation. Despite biying this 2 days ago, this could be an old beer based on appearance, aroma and mouthfeel. The flavour is grainy malt, tropical fruits, and a weak bitter finish. I don’t expect Mill Street to make world beating beers, especially now that they are under the Labatt (i.e. Anheuser-Busch-Inbev) umbrella, but I do expect better than this. |

The aroma is very grainy with a hint of earthy hops and yeast. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation, what good old fashioned lager drinkers would describe as ‘crisp’. The flavour is very grainy with just a hint of a bitter hop finish. Also in the finish is a bit of salinity, which was not a delightful surprise as this isn’t a gose! |

The beer pours a very hazed golden brown with a very creamy, very large off-whire cap which lasts a few minutes. The aroma is graham crackers, lime, cream, and perfumey hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour if this beer is NOT WELL BALANCED between the sweet crust elements and the tart lime flavours. In fact, I think I’ve had enough after only two mouthfuls. |
