1326 | Lake Of Bays Spark House Red Ale | Canada | Amber Ale | 3.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 550ml draught
5.0% ABV
C'est What (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
July 22, 2011
Tried as Lake Of Bays Rousse Ale
The beer poured a translucent ruby red colour with a creamy tan coloured head. The aroma is caramel malt, with some weak floral hop notes. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was primarily malty, sweet caramel, and a bitter finish. Went down easy, but an average amber at best. |

1327 | Lake Of Bays Spin Dive Summer Gose | Canada | Gose | 3.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 473ml can
3.8% Abv
Main / bronte LCBO Outlet (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
August 9, 2018
$3.15
The beer pours a translucent gold colour with a non-esistant white head which is quickly relegated to 'film status'. The aroma is light wheat, barley, and earthy hops with the added bonus of wak citrus. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is on the salty side which is a propos for a gose. There are also notes of grains of citrus to round out the flavour. Average at best for a Gose. |

The aroma definitely has maple in it, fruit, yeast and grains. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with mild carbonation. The flavour is yeast, grains, and light fruits. Quite refreshing, moreso than flavourful. |

1334 | Lake Of Bays Tropical Twister | Canada | Wild Ale | 3.1
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 473ml can
3.7% ABV
Canned On:
LCBO Outlet #649 (Milton, Ontario, Canada - Sobey's Plaza)
November 26, 2021
$3.75
The beer pours an opaque golden orange with creamy off-white head which lasts several minues and leaves some lacing. The aroma is grass, tart citrus, and yeast. It’s a Cherry Lemon-Lime Sour but I detect no cherry in the aroma. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is grassy with definite hints of lime and possibly weak cherry, but hard to say. The can says it has a sour candy swirl in the flavour. I didn’t get it. The lime in my can was very prominent though. |

1336 | Lake Of Bays Wild North Series: Pumpkin Ale | Canada | Spiced Beer | 3.0
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 473ml can
6.0% ABV
Canned On: September 10, 2018
Main / Bronte LCBO outlet (Milton,. Ontario, Canada)
September 29, 2018
$3.35
The beer poured a slightly hazed orange-red colour with a generous fluffly light tan head which didn't last very long. The aroma was all pumpkin at the start, but eventually grainy notes, weak spices, and musty hops filtered into the mix. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, although carbonation was light (the beer isn't even 3 weeks old!). The flavour started out with a tart fruity note before the bitter pumpkin notes set in. These were rounded out by the usual graininess and pumpkin pie spices. Nothing spectacular here. |

The aroma is very weak with no discernable notes of anything. The mouthfeel is watery and highly carbonated. The flavour is also very weak. No discernable taste of malt, hops, honey...or even grain. If it wasn't for the frothy head and the words 'beer' and 'biere' on the can, I would have thought with was coloured water. I'm convinced the $1.75 I paid is $1.74 too much. |

There was some hints of malt in the aroma, but not a lot. The mouthfeel was thin, with mild carbonation, and slightly slippery, reminiscent of wheat beers. The flavour was also a bit on the grainy side. Not a beer I would go out of my way to order again, but it did knock another country off my list. |
