The aroma is light grass, some floral hops, and light yeast. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is heavy on the sweet grainy malt with a light bitter finish. |

809 | Fenelon Falls Brewing Red Ale | Canada | Amber Ale | 3.2
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 473ml can
5.2% ABV
Canned On: October 5, 2019
LCBO Outlet #010 (Toronto, Ontario, Canada - Summerhill)
November 16, 2019
$3.50
The beer pours a translucent amber colour with a long lasting light tan coloured head. The aroma is biscuit malt, roasted nuts, caramel, and earthy hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with slightly above average carbonation. The flavour….is a letdown. Lots of caramel flavour, and lots of dishsoap flavour. Not a good balance. Weak bitter finish doesn’t help the cause at all. |

810 | Fenelon Falls Brewing Vienna Lager | Canada | Vienna / Amber Lager | 2.9
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 6 473ml can
5.0% ABV
Canned ON: August 27, 2019
LCBO Outlet #010 (Toronto, Ontario, Canada – Summerhill)
September 28, 2019
$3.50
The beer pours a transparent medium gold colour, with orange hues, and a foamy white cap which doesn’t last very long. The aroma is grainy malt, earthy hops, and weak yeast notes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. While the beer does not look like a Vienna, the flavour reminds you that it is. There is a definite hint of caramel sweetness, with a mildly bitter hop finish. Unfortunately, there is a tartness that also accompanies the sweetness but lingers longer. |

Effervescence is very high and lacing is good. The aroma is cereal malts, caramel, pine, and citrus. So far it seems like an old school West Coast IPA. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is a nice mash up of caramel notes, piney flavours, and bitter citrus. Definitely worth trying again. |

819 | Florisgaarden den Ninkeberry | Belgium | Fruit Lambic | 3.3
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 6 330ml bottle
3.5% ABV
I tried this beer on September 2, 2009 at "Smokeless Joe's" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The bottle looked and felt more like a 250ml bottle than a 330ml bottle. The beer poured a hazy golden pink colour with a fizzy short-lived head. The aroma was very fruity with mango very apparent. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied, with medium-high carbonation. The flavour was sweet in a fruity sense (as opposed to the artificial sweetness in a Wittekerke Rose) with a little malt in the taste.

After reading the plethora of reviews from Canadian based beerpals, one has to wonder if it's available stateside (not that they're missing anything). |

Lacing is erratic at best. The aroma is raspberry forward with hints of grass, hibiscus, and herbal hops in the background. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is kind of tart, in contrast to the sweet raspberry aroma. There are hints of biscuit malt and hibiscus followed by a light bitter finish. |

Aroma is dark chocolate, coffee, and some vanilla hints. Mouthfeel is full-bodied and well carbonated. Flavour is rich chocolate, black cherry, and hints of vanilla and alcohol. A very rich and heavy beer. Definitely an all-night sipper. Marked down for overall because $13.95 is too much for 750ml. 750ml of Witches Brew and 750ml of LTM Oktoberfest cost $13.15 combined on the same trip! |
