The aroma is light grains, yeast, spicy notes and herbal hops. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and highly carbonated. Very lively. The flavour is dominated by the salt notes with hints of wheat and herbal hops in the finish. The saltiness lingers for a while on the back of the tongue reminding you this is a gose! |

604 | Collective Arts Sour: Mango Tangerine | Canada | Wild Ale | 3.6
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 473ml can
6.00% ABV
Canned On: March 23, 2020
LCBO Outlet #649 (Milton, Ontario, Canada - Sobey's Plaza)
August 24, 2020
$4.25
The beer pours a hazy orange crush like appearance with a huge short-lived pillowy white head. The aroma is grainy malt (I think I detect wheat), orange, tangerine, and lots of yeast. It smells like my old graduate lab bench in many ways. I might have been on to something 30 years ago and didn’t realize it. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with below average carbonation. The flavour is tart oranges and yeast. It was canned 5 months ago today so that may have taken out whatever sweet flavours there might have been – but it is Collective Arts, so who knows? |

Lacing is decent and effervescence is high. The aroma has a lot of breadiness in it with hints of funk. No grapefruit notes that I can discern. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average mouthfeel. The flavour is yeasty with hints of tropical fruit and cereal grains. This would never be a favourite. |

606 | Collective Arts Stash Straight Up Ale | Canada | Blonde Ale | 2.9
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 473ml can
5.0% ABV
Milton LCBO Outlet #1 (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
April 20, 2017
The beer pours a very hazed light golden/straw colour with a generous bubbly cap that lingers for a few minutes. The initial aroma when I opened the can was Canadian macro lager, but once I poured, a light citrus hop note that is mildly overpowered by grass and herbal notes started to become the main theme. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is quite grainly with spicy hop tones intertwined. Not something I would try again. |
