426 | Brussels White | Belgium | Witbier | 3.1
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 330ml bottle
5.5% ABV
Best Before Date: April 2009
I tried this beer on September 12, 2008 at "Smokeless Joe's" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer pours a cloudy golden yellow with a thick, bubbly, white head that lingered. The aroma was malted wheat, cloves, and some sweet banana. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was very crisp with hints of banana, cloves, and nutmeg, all on a wheaty base. |

427 | Bud Light | United States | Light / Lite Lager | 1.1
Aroma: 2 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 Brewed in Canada by the Labatt Brewing Company
April 14, 2008
LCBO Outlet #255 (Milton, Ontario, Canada – Main / Bronte)
473ml can
4.0% ABV
$2.00
The beer pours a very translucent pale yellow (almost clear with yellow food colouring added to give it a tinge of colour). The aroma is weakly malty, with nothing else. The mouthfeel was very thin, watery with little carbonation. The flavour was watery as well, again water with a little bit of artificial beer taste added. I have to admit, while there was nothing spectacular about this beer, it went down very fast. |

428 | Bud Light Lime | United States | Light / Lite Lager | 1.3
Aroma: 2 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 America: Missouri
Brewed in Canada by the Labatt Brewing Company
October 21, 2009
LCBO Outlet #255 (Milton, Ontario, Canada – Main / Bronte)
355ml can
4.20% ABV
$1.60
I tried this beer after purchasing a single can from the 'singles' bin at one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer pours a translucent gold colour with a generous white head that disappears quickly. The aroma is phenolic in nature and not appealing at all. The mouthfeel is weak bodied, flat, and lightly carbonated (odd considering the huge head). The flavour is flat, citrusy, and weakly malty. This is a pretty bad beer even by swill standards which makes it even more surprising that the masses love it so much. |

430 | Budweiser | United States | Pale Lager | 1.9
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 April 7, 2022
Brewed in Canada by Labatt Brewing Company
473ml can
5.0% ABV
Canned On: March 14, 2022
LCBO Outlet #649 (Milton, Ontario, Canada – Sobey’s Plaza)
$2.70
A more experienced beer reviewer’s review! The beer pours a very pale straw colour with a bubbly white head which disappeared in mere seconds. Considering it was canned less than a month ago, that surprises me. There was no lacing. The aroma is grains and herbal hops. Not much else. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is grass and rice. I can actually taste the rice! I didn’t like this beer the first couple of times I tried it (the Labatt version in 1987 and the American version in 1992), and it won’t be a regular for me, but it really isn’t all that bad. I can see why billions and billions drink it. Score adjusted up to 1.9

Original Review
341ml bottle
5.0% ABV
Guelph, Ontario, Canada
January 21, 1987 (Canadian Version) / August 16, 1992 (American version)
I have had two versions of this beer, the Anheuser-Busch brewed version in the bars of Memphis, Tennessee, and the "brewed in Canada by Labatt under license...." I'll take the Canadian version hands down. Sadly, the Canadian version sucks too. For a beer that is as heavily advertised as it is, and sells as much as it does, the rating here says it all. This is America's finest pisswater (Labatt Blue is Canada's finest pisswater). It amazes me when I go out with friends, there is always one who orders Bud. Take a gamble people, try one of the beers on tap you've never heard of....they're great (with all due respect to Tony the Tiger). This is one of those beers I will go out of my way to avoid. Having it in your fridge is a great way to get taken off my Christmas card list! |

The aroma is metallic, some caramel sweetness, and weak earthy hops. Mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavour is slightly sweet with caramel notes, and a lot of grains. Tasted better than I thought it would, but far from something I would drink regularly. |

The aroma was a nice grainy aroma that screamed 'drink me!' It is smooth and crisp on the tongue with small hints of carbonation. The favour is crisp and clean with hints of grain. I will definitely try this again. |

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 7 500ml bottle
4.70% ABV
Bottled On: August 27, 2018
Best Before: August 27, 2019
LCBO #010 (Toronto, Ontario, Canada – Summerhill)
December 19, 2018
$2.80
The beer pours a very dark brown colour with a 4cm light brown head. When held up to a strong white light, the beer is translucent. The aroma is roasted malt, caramel, cardboard, cereal grains, and herbal hops. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied, crisp, with average carbonation. There are notes of dark chocolate, coffee, and dark fruit in the flavour, with a bitter cardboard taste in the finish. Effervescence and lacing are minimal. The aroma is light cereal grains, weak herbal hops, and apple notes. The mouthfeel is light bodied, but under-carbonated. There were some weak grains and a light bitterness in the taste, but for the most part, it tasted like sandy beachwater from Canadian Maritimes. |
