This poured out a pure black color with no head. The aroma is that of a pot of coffee brewing. The mouthfeel is pretty good just a bit above average. The taste is not very balanced it sort of like it was brewed to cover up the 9.4 abv. It's okay but not really something I would want to have several of. Probably would be perfect for as how its labeled. A little of the dog that bit you in the morning.

Really had a good aroma of cherry when poured. The licorice flavor is slight. And the mouthfeel is good and thick. The appearance was black but light can be seen through it. And it poured a massive foamy brown head. Really enjoyed this one.

Pours out a cloudy copper color with a head that disappears quickly. The aroma is of raspberries. The mouthfeel is medium in thickness. The taste is very tart and reminds me of Blushing Monk. One more good beer by Weyerbacher.

Pours out a very cloudy brownish red color with a thick tan head. The aroma is full of sour fruit. The mouthfeel is medium. The taste is not bitter but full of sour fruit. I poured it out of the freezer.i like this it's really good after drinking a couple of imperial stouts. I would buy this again it looks like cider

Just not my style of beer but since I live in the town that the brewery is located in. I have tried many styles of there beer. The only one so far I cared much for was a cherry quad that sold.

Didn't care to much for this found it to be a little to bitter for my taste. It did have a nice dark brown color with a nice tan head. The aroma was not very strong and I found the mouthfeel to be a little thin.

Just about perfect poured out 100% pitch black. And you know you just drank a good beer. When the clear glass you just drank out of is stained brown. This has 80 ibu but only the first sip is bitter.

Poured out a deep dark almost black color. Small beam of light came through it that was blood red. The aroma has a slight chocolate smell. The mouthfeel is just above average. The taste is of sweet chocolate a little coffee and a hint of bitter fruit.

Pours out a murky reddish brown color. The aroma scares me because I can smell the hops. The mouthfeel is just above average but oh shit the hops are very noticeable. The taste is hard to figure out because the hops are so present. This is not a barleywine as far as my taste buds are concerned. It's hoppy but I'm able to drink it but it is border line Pour it out". At $21 for a bottle it's over priced by at least $10.

Pours out a murky brown color with a nice tan head. The aroma is a cross between wine and vinegar. The mouthfeel is okay not thin but not thick. The taste is interesting notes of leather and cigars very similar to the Cigar City Maduro.

I prefer Imperial Stouts but I'm reall impressed by this Pilsner.it poured a a clear gold color with a fizzy head. The aroma if very faint with very little smell. The mouthfeel is average but very clean and smooth. It has a light malt taste with a hint of sweetness and lemon. I know my rating won't reflect just how good this beer is because I put. High ratings on aroma and appearance.

Not real sure of the color because it was served in a res Solo cup. It did have a nice tan head. And the mouthfeel was surprisingly rich and creamy . I enjoyed this bit but the vanilla was a little to strong for my taste.

Pours out a pitch black that light won't shine through. The aroma is slightly sweet like a barleywine. The mouthfeel is solid but not extremely thick. The taste is smooth with well balanced malt and coffee notes.

Pours out 100% black with a nice thick head. The aroma is smokey with notes of vanilla and coffee. The mouthfeel is good solid and right on the other die of thick. The taste is slightly hoppy with coffee and just almost to much vanilla for my taste . I would buy this again.

This is the first beer by Stone I've drank that I liked. It's was very interesting because of the tea being blended into it. I enjoyed the taste, mouthfeel and aroma. Good beer for a low cost.

Was just a little disappointed because for the cost the Founders imperial stout. The imperial stout way out classes it. However the taste was good but just a tad to sweet. How ever I'm not condemning it it was good.

Pours old a nice deep dark brown color right on the edge of being black. The aroma is very pleasing . The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. The taste is full of coffee flavor but just a little to sweet for my taste.

I don't like to give bad reviews because everyone has different tastes and likes. I drank only about 4-5 ounces of this and then poured the rest of the bottle out. Terrible balance of hops and very bitter.

Pours our a very dark brown with a red hue and nice tan head. The aroma has a slight vinegar smell. The mouthfeel is supprising thick for a saison quite impressive. The taste is a balance between a Saison, Porter and a dark ale. Really quite impressive.
