Color was not pale in my opinion.had good malt taste and I found it not to be bitter. It seemed to have a smell that reminded me of wheat. Went well with my steak dinner. And paired well with my after dinner cigar.

For being a strong lager I expected it to be my rich in taste than the pale lager also made by the same company. It wasn't and even had a more of bitterness. Which was the only thing I thought was different.

Just another run of the mill golden pilsner. Nothing so special that I would try it again. Did find adding a lime wedge made it more interesting. However it's no Corona or even a Budlight Lime.

Pure black stout that I drank out of the bottle, all four of them. Just a very slight note of bitterness. Made me a Green Flash fan. I will buy more of these plus try some of their other brews.

Mexican beer with a lime taught me a new was to drink a ice cold beer. I'm all about a stout or porter but these are still one of my favorites. However I find them pretty bland without the lime.

Not a beer I'd choice if there was any other choice. Nothing special unless you like the smell and taste of corn. Can't say I've ever drank another beer that made me us the term of corn.

I guess I can say at least one good thing about this beer. I think it may be the best of the light beers I've drank. At least to me it's better than Coors and Bud light. And a whole lot better than Corona light.

Growing up in Oklahoma this was the first beer I ever drank. On a hot day a ice cold mug,can or bottle is still pretty refreshing but no longer a beer I would want to drink more than two or three at a sitting. In Oklahoma we knew it as Colorado Kool Aid.

I guess you need to be from Texas to like this beer. The best thing I can say about Lone Star. Is that after drinking five or six of them. Your ready to ride the mechanical bull. That and they are fun to hold while wearing cowboy boot.

Who haven't drank this beer in America. When it's served really cold at a ball game. It does help to wash down the peanuts and hot dogs. It's one of those beers your buddies who don't know any better drink.

I drank this back when I was teenager. I remember it as being bad tasting but thought the name was cool. I haven't seen it for sale in thirty years but would like to taste it again. Just to see if still has the puzzles on the bottle caps.

Bought some of these because I want to see the picture of the Rocky mountains turn blue. When the can got cold which it did. I'd have to say that is the most interesting thing about this flavored water.

I remember drinking this back in the 1970's. I thought it was really good back then. I remember Clint Eastwood drank it. So I guess I thought if he drank it. It made me cool like him.

I had a neighbor who always drank this. So of course I'm not one to pass up a free beer. I don't like to insult my friends but there just was no way I could drink this. I just can't even image how anyone could drink this. Of course unless it was free.

I love stouts and porters but I also enjoy a lime in a really Corona. However this is NOT a Corona. I have tried a lot of different brands of light beers. This one does the worst injustice to the original.

Drank this one many years ago and still remember it as awful. I remember none of my buddies could Stand it either. If my memory serves me correctly. We took a case to a party and there were unfinished bottles left all over the place.

This beer was my first experience with a skunky beer. It was a darker yellow than most pale lagers. Back then is was labeled as a malt liquor. It's was pretty good once you got past the skunky smell.

Used to drink this as a young man because of the high abv It sure wasn't for the taste. When your young you will try just about anything. It's good to grow older because I would try to STEER a beer lover away from a STAG !

This is the only oatmeal beer I've ever drank. It taste really good and makes me interested in trying others. I've enjoyed several times now with cigars. And I would advise anyone to give this a try.

Pours think and black like a porter. And really smells good but taste more like a IPA. It is bitter but after the second drink it smoothed out. I would suggest it to those who enjoy IPAs.

This is a good black smooth porter. I only bought four and my buddy and I wished I had bought more. Pairs great with cigars and I will definitely being buying this again.

Drank this one from the tap. Boy was it think and black just the way I love them. First taste hit me with bitterness but smoothed out from there on. It was great with my cigar so I had a second one. Oops that was a mistake because it has a high abv. My buddy did the driving home.* Have also had this many times from the bottle and it's not as hoppy as the draft.

I don't much care for IPA but I wouldn't have known this one was unless I read the label. Very little bitterness and better flavor than other IPAs I've had. Paired quite well with the cigar I was smoking.

WOW! This is a fantastic ale. I ordered one with my cigar and was blown away with the taste. I drank that one right down but went slower with the next one. I had time to read the label and feel the head buzz from the high abv. I took a six pack home with me for Christmas.

Pours think and black like a stout should. Taste is average but just a little to bitter but not over bearing. It also seemed to become more bitter the warmer it became. My suggestion drink it while it's cold.
