Oh my lord , I'm not even going to go through the normal routine of rating. I've drank about 40 pumpkin beers in the last month. And this is one is nuts. Sam Adams has hit a home run with this one. Warlock is fantastic & Good Gourd are fantasistic but this is real pumpkin !

Pours out EXTREMLY dark brown with a massive tan foam head. The aroma is of sweet dark fruits. The mouthfeele is smooth rich and thick. The taste is really good but not $30 worth. GWish I could have it for $15-$20. This does sort of remind me of Goose Island Black Friday bourbon barrel.

"WOW ! This beer is so black a light can't shine through it. It's a crying shame this is only a seasonal beer. Clown Shoes needs to brew this as a year round product. I have to drive a 100 mile round trip just to buy this product. And have gladly made the trip three times.

Really had a good aroma of cherry when poured. The licorice flavor is slight. And the mouthfeel is good and thick. The appearance was black but light can be seen through it. And it poured a massive foamy brown head. Really enjoyed this one.

Pours out almost pure black with a nice tan head. The aroma is very powerful and be smelled a long ways away from the glass. The mouthfeel is rich and thick. The taste is very well balanced between the hops and malt.

Pours out extremely cloudy with a slight tan head. The aroma is hard to describe but is very powerful. The mouthfeel is pretty damn thick. The taste is a heavy sweet taste and the malt are very thick in order to try to hide the high abv. This is interesting but don't think. Need to try again. B the way this is much better in the bottle than when I tried it on the tap.

Pours out a deep very cloudy color with a massive head. The smell is all raspberry and smell great. The mouthfeel is thick but not heavy. The taste is just a little sour but not bitter. Very close in taste to Founders Blushing Monk.

This pours out 100% black with no real head probably because of the high ABV. The aroma is very unique and great smelling. The mouthfeel is solid but a little thin for a Imperial Stout. The taste is complex with a hint of sweetness. The high ABV is very well hidden.

Hot dang I sure liked this but after 2 bottles it's just to sweet to drink 3. Without a doubt the first beer that I've liked with Maple syrup in it.The molasses that are in this brew must be very expensive to buy because the flavor was out of this world.

Poured out extremely dark brown with a nice foamy head. The aroma has a powerful sweet smell. The mouthfeel is pretty good. The taste is well balanced of roasted malt. With just a hint of coffee.

Pours out solid black like all the Bourbon County series. The aroma is of maple and vanilla the mouthfeel is pretty decent. The taste is a tad sweet from the maple syrup.

Poured a a dark amber color with a massive long lasting head. I can smell roasted barley, spices and I think figs. The mouthfeel is thick and creamy. The tastes is close to being a fruit cake. This doppelbock way out classes the other beers I’ve had from this brewer.

Pours out 100% black with big thick brown head. You can smell the maple and roasted malt. The mouthfeel is is solid and thick. The taste has maple without being overwhelming. It’s a lot less sweet than I figured it would be because of the maple. Mild bourbon and chocolate and very light vanilla. Best to let this one warm up a bit.

Very interesting beer that’s bubbly and is maroon in color. You can smell the raspberries as soon as you open the can. It’s just slightly tart but the raspberry flavor is excellent.

If you are going to try this ale I suggest you buy two bottles. If you don't your going to be mad when this black gold goes empty on you. Lubrication is a good name for it because it pours like oil.

I smell bourbon oak maple and malt. I taste bourbon oak and malt. Pours deep dark red black. It's so thick in my mouth it's like drinking sludge. This sucker is got such a high abv it will warm your chest up.

The aroma is of clove and malt in the glass but like gingerbread in the bottle. When you first take the cap off the bottle. Pours solid black with no foam head. The taste will make you think it's Christmas because of all the spices. Smooth with no bitterness !

Pours out a 99% black with a rich thick lingering tan head. The aroma is of malt,light hop and coffee. The mouthfeel is smooth and thick like chocolate. The taste is heavy malt with light bitter coffee notes.

I just drank three VERY expensive and fantastic beers. This sucker surprised me outstanding. I've had several Founders beers and this one is the best so far it's like a barley wine. It's smooth in mouthfeel but just a wee bit sweet in taste. This is high in abv just like the other three one which was 15.2 and for the cost this is just as good. I drank this again on 6/11/2015 as a first beer and boy I can the sweet molasses.

Pours out dark brown with a white head. The aroma is deep with notes of brown sugar to me my beer buddy. Thinks it smells like aged beef but he is German so what does he know. The mouthfeel is smooth thick and rich like a Belgium style. The flavor is deep and complex.

Pours out a very dark reddish color with big foamy head. The aroma smells like a Barley-wine and if it's possible I can smell sour. The mouthfeel is bitter, sweet and tart all at the same time. The flavor is heavy malt with a surprising tartness instead of sweet cherry taste. As all Weyerbacher brews it's a winner.

If this brown beauty was any darker it would be black. The aroma is like the label reads, chocolate and peanut butter. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. The taste is hops but it's not bitter at all. It's well balanced with the chocolate and thick malt taste.

Pours out 100% black and a light won't shine through it. The aroma is heavy of roasted malt. The is wonderfully thick. The taste is very smooth even though it's not complex. Mostly tastes of roasted malt some coffee & chocolate and a hint of citrus. There was no head so I don't give it a 10 on appearance. But boy this sure is a good smooth imperial stout.

Pours out like black sludge with a nice lingering tan head. The aroma is sweet smeeling toffe. The mouthfeel is a bit bitter but not bad. The taste is definitely of alcohol along with coffee, roasted malt and some chocolate.the IBU Is 65 which is the highest I've been able to enjoy so far. It's better as it warms up out of the ice chest. Or the 10% abv is starting to kick in.

Pours out a extremely dark brown color with a red hue & massive tan foamy head. The aroma is of figs , raisins and butterscotch. The mouthfeel gets thicker as it warms up. The first taste there is a note so sweetness. That is blended well with heavy malt blended very well. I want to try this one again.
