It pours out the same color as it looks in the clear bottle. The aroma doesn't smell like rum more like mold spice. The mouthfeel is smooth but only medium. The taste is slightly sweet from the dark fruits.

Pours out very cloudy brown unfiltered and looks like old fashion apple cider. The aroma is powerful like fermented apples. The mouthfeel is about a 7.5 the taste is bittersweet. A very good barleywine.

Pours out 100% black with a thin tan head. The aroma is full of roasted malt and hops. The mouthfeel is better than average but thick for a ale. The taste although slightly bitter is interesting.

This was an OK here but not what I expected for $8.99 for 11.2 ounce bottle yes. That was Age for 12 years in whiskey Cass barrels. The taste was OK but nothing really heavily pronounced except for a slight sweetness and decent notes of whiskey. Was not sick at all and was expecting more because it was called black oil.

This is without a doubt the very best beer I've ever drank. The aroma is off the charts of dark roasted malt. The appearance is 100% solid black. The mouth taste is the thickest riches beer that I know of on the market. I would love to be able to find another bottle of it.

Pours out dark brown with a slight red tone. The aroma is mild with a slight wood smell. The mouthfeel is only average. The taste has very slight hints of cinnamon, nutmeg & chocolate. A pleasant enough porter.

Pours out black but not solid black. The aroma is of dark roasted malt and coffee. The mouthfeel Is right at the edge of being thick. The taste is pretty fair but not very distinct of anything particular.I reckon it’s pretty balance and I’m enjoying it but it doesn’t make me think of Christmas.

Poured out a dark hazy golden color.The aroma is of hops. The mouthfeel is a little thin. The taste isn’t something I enjoy because it’s a little bit hoppy.

Pours out 100% black with no head. The aroma is strong of oak. The mouthfeel is just above average. The taste is unique pretty complex and gets better as it warms up.

I thought this was a pretty solid beer. The nitro added in the can made this a creamy, foamy copper colored, thick malty beer. It’s a beer I can drink several of and not get hammered since it’s only 5% ABV.

Reckon the fact I’m only 15% Irish is why I don’t like this beer. Best thing I can say was it was free. It’s just a clear brown fluid that almost taste like beer.

Great beer that it was afraid to try because of the banana label. I'm sure glad I got past my fears because is really special. I smoke a lot of cigars and have yet to find one that doesn't pair well with this brew. I mostly drink porters/stouts and ales and still this is a treat to drink.

This is the only oatmeal beer I've ever drank. It taste really good and makes me interested in trying others. I've enjoyed several times now with cigars. And I would advise anyone to give this a try.

This is a good black smooth porter. I only bought four and my buddy and I wished I had bought more. Pairs great with cigars and I will definitely being buying this again.

I don't think this should be called a strong ale but instead should be called a pale ale. What I found to be different about this beer. Is when I poured it into a glass it had no head . Flavor was pretty good but I won't go out of my way to try it again.

This is what I would call an imperial stout lite. Not a real complex beer of favors. However pairs very will with a cigar. Less bitter than most stouts and has a lite aroma. With that being said I found it to be a fine drink.

Color was not pale in my opinion.had good malt taste and I found it not to be bitter. It seemed to have a smell that reminded me of wheat. Went well with my steak dinner. And paired well with my after dinner cigar.

Poured a dark red copper color with foamy tan head. The aroma had a sweet fruity malt smell. The taste was pretty lite but had decent flavor. There was no after taste or bitterness.

Yellow beer that pour a think white head that takes a while to settle down so you can drink it. Has a good malt aroma with a slight smell of bread. Flavor was average and was a bit watery.

Very dark brown color that pours a thick tan head that settles pretty fast. The bottom of the bottle is full of yeast. The aroma is very mild and doesn't remind me of anything. Has a very smooth mouthfeel and taste. Nothing to special to want to try again.

Okay this is my fifth beer of the night but I have two pals helping me rate this. Color is Cocoa Cola dark red brown. Pours no head coming out of the ice chest. Aroma doesn't remind me of anything. The mouthfeel and are are pretty plain.

WOW ! This beer is so black a light can't shine through it. It's a crying shame this is only a seasonal beer. Clown Shoes needs to brew this as a year round product. I have to drive a 100 mile round trip just to buy this product. And have gladly made the trip three times.

Another great brew from Clown Shoes. And this may be my second favorite Imperial Stout I've ever drank. 100% black with zero bitterness and great flavor. It's hard to find at my closest retailer I guess because it's so good they are always sold out.

If you are going to try this ale I suggest you buy two bottles. If you don't your going to be mad when this black gold goes empty on you. Lubrication is a good name for it because it pours like oil.

I don't care for IPA's but because this was brewed by Clown Shoes. I decided to give it a try. We'll let me say I didn't care that much for it but in defense I think this was the best IPA I ever drank.
