2 | Rockmill Dubbel Cask Aged | United States | Abbey Dubbel | 3.4
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Pour from a bottle at the Rockmill tasting room. Looks like the regular dubbel; amber brown with a smaller beige head that leaves some spots of lace in the glass. Notes of vanilla, dark fruits (figs, dates, raisins), mellow spice, earth, nuts, cake, oak, and warming bourbon throughout. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet, warming mouthfeel. |

5 | Rockmill Dubbel | United States | Abbey Dubbel | 4.0
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 Pours a nice cola brown color with a thick slightly off white head that leaves good lacing. The aroma is very sweet caramel malt aromas with some spice and lots of dark fruit scents as well along with some belgian yeast and toasted bread. The taste is dark and light fruits which lead the way initially with very strong notes of banana and raisins along with some caramel, figs, tobacco, and some brown sugar round out the flavors. The yeast plays a major role in the flavor here and adds some delicate spices and complexity. Alcohol is very well hidden. The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy with a very nice lingering sweetness and medium bodied. |

8 | Harpoon Leviathan Belgian Quad | United States | Abbey Quadrupel | 3.7
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Pours a dark ruby red with almost no head and leaves no lacing. The aroma was of sweet malt, raisins, plums, dry figs, alcohol, slight hops, and the slightest caramel malt ever. The taste was very sweet burnt malt up front with sweet fresh raisins in the middle and a dark plum finish. Alcohol makes it's presence known as well. The mouthfeel adds some additional alcohol flavor with almost no carbonation and an extremely heavy body. |

9 | Dark Horse Sapient Trip Ale | United States | Abbey Tripel | 3.7
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7 Pours a very murky orange color with tons of sediment and not much of a head, and pretty much no lacing. The aroma has a lot of grapey smells. Secondary aromas consist of alcohol and malts, and maybe a touch of bananas as well. The taste wham. The alcohol's not shy in this beer, as it hits me hard up front and on the finish. Initial taste is sweet with the fruits, and the finish is a bit bitter with some malts and the alcohol I mentioned. The mouthfeel is full and just a bit syrupy. |

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Pours a hazy golden amber body with slight orange tint. Thin head although the near fizzling carbonation keeps head through most of the drink. The aroma is of strong Belgian yeast accompanied by light citrus fruit, clove, caramel and biscuit. The taste is delicious and complex tripel, light yet full of flavor. Taste mirrors smell with great balance. Each sip brings new flavors to the front. Delicious finish and is highly carbonated. |

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 pours a very hazy and muddled orange color with a very thin layer of white lacing with fine bubbles that dissipates almost immediately. 16 | Samuel Adams New World Tripel (Barrel Room Collection) | United States | Abbey Tripel | 3.5
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 pours a deep and hazy orange with a thick medium sized head and shows off some lasting foaming action, leaving behind an ample amount of lacing. The aroma is one of the fruitiest tripels I’ve ever dealt with. Tons of tropical fruit hits you in the aroma, along with sweet malts, Belgian yeasts, and whiffs of alcohol. The taste in the beginning has a nice tartness, the flavor falls back into that same sweetness picked up in the aroma; candied sugars, pineapple, cloves, pepper, and a light vanilla. There is a noticeable alcohol presence and a slight oak character in the finish. The mouthfeel has a light-medium body; very smooth and with a lingering dryness, also, an enjoyable and long-lived aftertaste. |

17 | Rockmill Tripel Cask Aged | United States | Abbey Tripel | 3.4
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 7 Pours a mirky orange color, off-white head, spotty lace. The aroma has a big whiskey nose, oak, some of the base Tripel sweetness. Pretty big and boozy, and if you like whiskey with a bit of beer, then you'd like this aroma. The taste is less whiskey then the aroma, with Oak, candied sugar sweetness, whisky booze, and some fruit in there as well. Alcohol is there. Finish is sweet whiskey booze. The mouthfeel is medium, good carbonation, sweet creamy finish. |

19 | Rockmill Tripel | United States | Abbey Tripel | 4.1
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 8 Pours a cloudy dark golden color with a huge white head that hangs around for some time. The aroma is of strong clean wheat, biscuit smell with a slight hop tinge, but mainly sugary wheat. The taste is very fresh, just like the Rockmill Dubbel. This beer tastes like someone took a very good German hefeweizen and dumped some sugar in it, and I mean that in a good way. Lots of nice tastes that blend quite well together. The mouthfeel is very smooth and medium bodied. The drinkability is awesome on this beer. |
