The only thing select on this is that it costs more money then standard bud. It virtually has no smell or taste. I tried bottle & can incase there was difference in taste but could find no taste in either. My advise is to NOT select this beer.

When Rolling Rock was brewed independently, in Old Latrobe, I thought it was a good clean, refreshing beer especially for the price. The original version would have a much higer score (5's & 6's instead of 3's). However, since the AB/InBev takeover, it might as well be Busch Light, so much for the original receipe. Good-bye, Rolling Rock, we will miss you!"

AB-has done it again, taken another good beer and ruined it. Not sure how they do it but it never fails. This beer is now a shadow of it's former self. Not worth even typing any other comments.

Tecate light is a lighter version of Tecate and as in most Mexican beers taste best in the summer with a lime. However, judging Tecate light solo it's just another no frills cerveza! It pours a golden color with a white foamy head that quickly disappears. The aroma and taste are enhanced with grain. The hops help somewhat with the taste so that it is not bread water. Must be served ice cold on hot summer day.

Pours a clean pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma has a small sweetness and a small skunkiness. The taste has a small sweetness in the malt and then nothing. The mouthfeel is watery and really not much going on.

pours out as a clear looking gold color with a thin fizzy white head on top. The aroma is sweet and grainy, some aromas of corn in there too. The taste of the beer was sweet and grainy also. The aftertaste was a little bitter but not much at all. The mouthfeel was light and watery, some carbonation. Only slightly better the their reg version.

pours a dark amber color, medium head, no lacing. The aroma consisted of some caramel, minor malt and hops. The taste was unpleasant, it was sweet caramel, some maltiness and minor hops. The mouthfeel consisted of a thin body, and watery.

pours a crystal clear light yellow in color and has a moderate amount of carbonation with a small bright white head that quickly died down and left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface. The aroma is of adjunct malts, corn and rice. The taste is very similar to the smell and also has some hints of grainy malts and a faint amount of bitterness. The mouthfeel is light-bodied and somewhat watery on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation. This got me through many a day during my collage years.

pours a pale gold with traces of carbonation and a small head of foam in the glass. A few minutes later there's just a faint skim and ring of foam at the edges. The aroma is husky grain and apple aroma that carries over into the flavor. The taste has a barely there malt profile. Ok if you need to pound a few in beer pong or other game.

If your young and broke & need lots of light beer then this would be one to choose. Of course you need to server this beer as ice cold as you can get it. Also good beer for beer drinking games. The light version is a lot more watery then regular version but then you would expect that being a "light"

Pours clear dark amber with a small tanish head with a little lacing. The aroma has the disappointing smell of being watered down. Some red malts but is also very sweet and kinda skunky smelling. The taste has a sugary sweet creaminess, very sugary, no hops whatsoever. The mouthfeel is like highly carbonated water and doesn't leave behind much behind but a sugary taste. Over all perhaps the best beer I've had to date from AB but then again thats not saying much!

Pours a pale yellow color with a small head that fades quickly. The aroma is mild aroma of malt sweetness and grainy. The taste is similar to the aroma, with a mild sweetness and grain with no real bitterness and a slight aftertaste. The mouthfeel is light body, crisp and a bit refreshing.

Pours a clear pale golden color with a thin head on the pour disappears about as soon as it hits the glass. The aroma Wow! Wow! lots of pepper, and I mean a lot of pepper with some bread and corn. The taste is very watery with a ton of sweet boiled corn flavor. Heat hits about midway an takes over anything else in the way of flavor. Very thin mouthfeel. Really, really not good!!!

Pours a very pale yellow, with a soapy frothy head with very good retention and very limited lace. The aroma such as it was consisted of Carbonic acid. The taset was very mild malt, with a hint of hops. Still very seltzery. The mouthfeel was light bodied, lighly carbonated, and very watery.

pours a pale yellow color with a short white head that fades very quickly and leaves a very thin lace. The aroma is very faint but contains light malts, some adjuncts and miniscule touch of hops. The taste starts out some mild breadiness from adjuncts and a very thin malt character followed by a little bit of sweetness. The hops presence is almost nonexistent. The after-taste is slightly bready. The mouthfeel is crisp and a little smooth, very light body, medium-to-high carbonation, finish is clean. It's good that this was cheap and one of my many college beers.

pours a champagne like creamy clear yellow with heavy carbonation bubbles and soapy white head that falls most of the way but hangs around and the lace coats the entire glass. The aroma is weird, potatoe and some sort of fruit. The taste is harsh, boozy, anf lacking dimension. Rice, Red Bull, apple peel. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and the alcohol warms and cuts through all texture with heavy carbonation and is overly dry.

pours a honey colored body with carbonation rising from the bottom of the monster 40oz bottle, small white head no lacing. The aroma is of wet straw, yeast, high in the malts, a bit skunky but get a sweet aroma to counter it. The Taste is has unique characteristics that can only be achieved by the "malt liquor" process. Watered down straw like taste. The mouthfeel is high carbonation, ends dry and medium bodied. It's realy cheap and you get what you pay for.

The medicinal, hot alcohol distracts from other flavors. Some pear like fruit lies in the back. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and cloying. The finish is very boozy.

pours a light amber with a very faint brown shade. Thin, fleeting head and no lace. The aroma is very faint and consists of slightly grainy. The taste what there is of it consists of grains. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied. Another great example of why A/B is the King of Crap beers!

Poured a very light golden color with a very thin head with a couple flecks of lacing. The aroma is predictibly boring with corn, light malts, sugar, tin. The taste is all kinds of bland with a tinny, chemical taste becomes more potent as you work your way through it. The mouthfeel is thin, watery, with spritzy carbonation.
