1802 Tyranena Bitter Woman IPA United States IPA 3.5

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

Pours a clear, amber, with some suspended particles and occasional bubbles; with ok fluffy, white head that drops slowly and leaves sparse lacing. The aroma is restrained earthiness and citrus, with a faint bit of floral. The taste consists of malt, with caramel, then citrus & pine; moderately bitter; no detectable alcohol and is nicely carbonated. An extremely drinkable, well balanced IPA.

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7

pours a lighly hazy medium golden hue with a small frothy white foam and a nice effervescence. The aroma is malty with a mild wheat character and a light dusting of hops. The taste is malty with a light fruity character up front and a slightly citrusy but also with a hint of apple. Bitterness is quite low and hops aren't even as prevalent as in the aroma. The mouthfeel is medium body with a good level of carbonation and a good creaminess. Overall this is actually a decent beer.

Poured clear pale golden color with nice think head, with spottier lacing. The aroma is a crisp, real lime that's right on the money. Along with bright, yet easy-going malts. The taste is a zippy, refreshing version of the aroma with a very quenching finish. The lime isn't sugary or syrupy. The mouthfeel is a medium-light mouthfeel with mild carbonation.

1810 Unibroue Chambly Noire Canada Belgian Ale 3.5

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

pours a very dark brown with a creamy but shor-lived tan head. The armoa is a sweet smell, mainly of dark fruits (cooked raisins and a bit of dates and prunes) and cognac. The taste has plenty of dark fruit flavor with prunes and raisins dominant. A yeasty dark bread flavor as a base. Hints of vanilla, cooked peaches, white pepper and cognac. A touch of tartness keeps the sweetness in control. The mouthfeel is good, medium-low carbonation; creamy smooth; slight dryness in the finish.

1811 Unibroue L'Éphémère Pomme (Unibroue L'Éphémère Apple) Canada Fruit Beer 4.0

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

Beer pours nice clear amber with a huge aroma of apples has a nice white head that quickly disappears. The apples are all there, in a juicy, refreshing kind of way. The aroma suggested way more tartness, which was mostly there. The balance is impeccable- with some coriander and spice. Super-smooth, no distracting things in the flavor. I really enjoy this beer and fruit beers in general.

1812 Unibroue La Fin du Monde Canada Abbey Tripel 3.5

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

Pours a hazy golden amber body with slight orange tint. Thin head although the near fizzling carbonation keeps head through most of the drink. The aroma is of strong Belgian yeast accompanied by light citrus fruit, clove, caramel and biscuit. The taste is delicious and complex tripel, light yet full of flavor. Taste mirrors smell with great balance. Each sip brings new flavors to the front. Delicious finish and is highly carbonated.

1813 Unibroue Maudite Canada Belgian Strong Ale 3.6

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

Pours a very dark brown amber and super hazy as well. A large off-white colored head as well. The aroma is bitter like a lot of grassy hops and other herbal notes. A caramel candy sweetness. Spices. The taste is big fruity bitterness up front. A bit of sharp citrus and a little bit of darker fruits like figs and plums. A smooth bit of caramel in there. A strange blend of spices and pepper. Complex and blends well but no big stand out flavors. It has a high carbonation but it works well for this beer and it goes down easy for an 8% beer.

1814 Unibroue Raftman Canada Smoked Ale 3.3

Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

It pours a nice orange/amber color. It has no head but has a white ring around the glass that leaves some lacing. The aromas definitly give out hints spices, wheat, citrus and belgian yeast. Like the aromas, the taste has a nice spice presence (cloves, maybe coriander) with some wheat notes, citrus and yeast. It has a high carbonation with a nice overall balance and feel. It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompanied with good flavors and aromas.

1815 Unveiled Brewing Strawberry Bock United States Bock 2.0

Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4

pours a pale yellow color, not what you expect with a bock beer. The head was nearly non existent, and faded quickly. The aroma was a very pale strawberry and not much else. The taste was that of fake week strawberries. The mouthfeel was week and metallic. Very poor. fails on all levels.

1816 Upland Dragonfly IPA United States IPA 3.5

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

Pours a copper/clove honey dark gold with an impressive white head that foams and lingers but leaves no lace. The aroma is of hops, grapefruit, some spice, and clove. The taste is a nice step back from IPAs that come through too powerful. This has all the tastes, hops, sweet citrus/honey, and earthy clove and florals without the hop annihilation. The mouthfeel is crisp with decent carbonation. Good aftertaste, bitter, but not overly bitter.

Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6

pours a hazy light copper body with a snow white head that is thick and creamy lasting for all of the beer. The aroma has a dry fruity hops which are supported by some honey malt notes in the finish. The taste is slightly dry green hops which have a herbal quality and some juicy fruit gum notes to them. There is a nice malt flavor that grows as the beer opens with some biscuit malt notes. The dried orange and spicy character to the hops comes through in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium to light and has a gentle fizz and no alcohol heat noticed.

1818 Upland Wheat Ale United States Witbier 4.0

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

pours a golden yellow color with densely cloudy, almost milky, with a bright white head, which dissipates slowly with good lacing. The aroma reminds me of a good yeast roll with hits of citrus and coriander. The taste reflects the aroma, but pick up more prominent coriander, leaving a trace bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium while the carbonation is moderate but contributes to the overall mild dry finish.

jpours a cloudy chestnut color, off white head, dissipates slowly, leaving a lot of very thick lacing. The aroma is plum like yeasty sweetness with mild wet cloves. Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

Pours clear garnet red with light amounts of visible carbonation and small frothy off white head with excellent retention which leaves excellent amounts of lacing. The aromas are malty and bready with just a hint of spicy hops. The malts seem to be toasted and overall the smell is not unlike pumpernickel bread. The tastes are slightly sweet and malty bready & toasted malts with slight hints of raisin, and toffee. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and very little carbonation.

1822 Veldensteiner Premium Pils Germany Bohemian / Czech Pilsener 3.5

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

pours pale and crytal clear yellow with a nice white head but it quickly dissipates with some pretty lacing and film remaining on the surface of the beer throughout the drink. The aroma is Bock like malt odor and citrusy hops. The hops are a little off for the style but complement the sweeter than usual malts. The taste is sharp and bitter hops upfront, the malts keep it from getting to be overwhelming. Finishes with an hop citrus rind bitterness, very blunt but without leaving much of an aftertaste. The mouthfeel has a lot going on here, tight and intense carbonation with a creamy fell, special feature of many beers from this brewery.

pours a hazy yellow in color and has a moderate amount of carbonation with a small frothy white head that gradually died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles on the surface and a thick ring around the edge of the glass. The aroma is of bready and grainy malts and yeast are present in the smell. As the beer warms up, some hints of honey become noticeable. The taste is very similar to the aroma and exhibits a lot of properties similar to a freshly baked loaf of artisan bread. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied, relatively smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
