working in the Netherlands and Africa. Like to drink a beer with friends once in a while. We visit a beer speciality bar for that purpose. White Cap is my favourite in Kenya, even before climbing that mountain.

  Have been drinking this beer for the last 25 years while in Kenya. It is a pilsner beer so indeed no special flavour and a bit light, but more tastier than the major opponent Tusker. Yet biting in a white cap, especially in combination with roasted groundnuts or even better nyama choma (roasted (goat/sheep) meat) while viewing the white cap of Mount Kenya is thrilling all yor senses. The good thing is: no headache as opposed to Tusker. It simply is the best beer around whether in Nairobi, along the coast, or in the semi arid lands.
