A dark amber colour, this pours with a big frothy head that leaves traces and a bit of lacing. It has moderate carbonation. It has a mild smell with a hint of apple, and the taste has that same hint of apple. It has a bit of hoppy bitterness at the start, and a nice malt sweetness that is in fair balance with the hops. While a bit thin in the middle, it leaves a pleasant bitter aftertaste. Not a bad brew...

I've only had the opportunity to taste this brew from cans, which has coloured my experience a bit. As with any widget enhanced beer, it pours with a lovely creamy head that lasts and lasts, and leaves a bit of lace as you drink it. The colour is a nice golden brown. The flavour is a bit mild and has a slight hint of metal - aluminum. The taste initially is fairly bitter, but gets very thin in the middle and mild toward the end. The aftertaste seems to stick at the back of the throat a bit - not very pleasantly. There is, at least initially, a very obvious taste of aluminum as well. This beer has been well within it's best before shelf life, so that isn't the problem. As an import, it's all I'm able to get here. It's a shame. I think it could be better in the bottle or on tap...

This is a nice lager from the Philippines. It pours a nice golden colour with a vigourous head. It has fairly good carbonation but the head disappears quite quickly. The taste is fairly hoppy and astringent. It becomes a bit weak in the middle, but finishes nicely with a nice hoppy aftertaste. I really enjoy this brew.

It pours a nice golden colour with a bit of a head that disappears quickly. It leaves a bit of lacing and maintains a tiny bit of head. It has a medium carbonation and has a bit of a bite at the start, with a nice hoppy herbal taste. It becomes a bit milder in the middle and ends with only a bit of hops. It has a bit of malt sweetness throughout. A pleasant beer.

A dark reddish brown, deep caramel colour, with a short head and not a great deal of carbonation. Very sweet tasting and very full bodied, though a bit thin in the middle. Malty finish and long-lasting aftertaste.
