I've always been into beer, but only got into trying the less popular, but much better, micros and craftbeers about 2 years ago. Now I'm the go to guy in my circle of friends when it comes to questions about beer. I recently converted my wife from plain light beer to the more flavorful offerings from smaller breweries.

  very thick lingering head. extemely nice to look at. tastes are a combo of peppers fruit and grass. acceptable anytime, anywhere. not my favorite but definitely worth drinking. have some in the fridge right now

  pours smooth, thick foamy head, rich lacing. subtle fruity tones, with crisp clean finish. has a light, pleasant flavor for all the alcohol in it. have to go out of town to get one, and cant wait

  looks fantastic coming out of the bottle, very black with rich head and average lacing. it smells like something you would think twice about drinking, earthy and chocolate coffee. but the first mouthful is unbelievably smooth, with complex flavor that strangely doesn't overpower any particular part of the tongue. very good

  probably one of my bottom 10. like everybody says, if you want to get rocked for next to free, go ahead, but you will not enjoy yourself. weak color, bad aftertaste, and heavy, syrupy, mouthfeel add up to an altogether unpleasant experience

  while in the Marine Corps, if we had to stay on the ship for more than 45 days , or something like that, we got to have beers. this is the one we had. not that good now that i think about it, but an absolute godsend then. has a bittery(but not too much) flavor, with a crisp finish. wouldn't go out of my way for it, bit i would drink one if it were handy. we didn't have the luxury of glasses so i can't report on the look
