Grolsch deserves its name in quality, for being around since 1615. its is not bitter, very smooth and never tires! That is what a beer should be. I always feel like drinking a Grolsch. Other beers I might say: "No not now", however, with Grolsch that never happens. If for any reason, anywhere in the world your Grolsch tastes a bit off, please remember, that beer doesn't travel well. However try the canned version instead of the bottled. (glass still lets in daylight, which can be very bad for beer). Many of the worlds greatest beers are available in cans. D A B (Dortmunder Action Brauerei) or Stella Artois or even Heineken. (I wished Radegast came in cans), Grolsch in cans is very very good. Poured into a crisp, clean glass, and an inch of foam to lock in its flavour, this beer cannot be surpassed.

Labatts classic is notable for the palate. If Labatts claims that this beer is Krausen Brewed (small batches) then it must be true. The first sip is indeed overwhelming. One can truly enjoy the craftmenship put into this beer. There is no commercialism in the quality, unlike other Labatts products, the likes of its "Blue" beer. Labatt Classic, when served at the right temperature, 7°C, and poured in a clean glass, with just a touch of a foamy head, is truly very enjoyable, refreshing and smooth tasting, what any beer realy should be about! Not quite what a Belgium, German or Dutch premium beer can bring, however,I think that Labatts Classic, is a Canadian Classic, and should do Canada Proud!
