i really love american beer a whole lot. i've only found it in denver, but that just adds to the mystique. i also love old stlye, which i can't find in oakland either, at least they have it in kansas city and chicago.

what i can write about this that wasn't in my olympia og review is that 1. it tastes much more waterful and easy to put down 2. they don't sell it here in oakland so i'm deeply saddened.

Olympia is a pretty legit cheap beer, one of my favorites actually. The 6 dollar twelve pack flowed like whine back home in Kansas, but here in Oakland I'm hard pressed to find the beers I grew up drinking. I've seen Hamms a few times and they even have it in bars, but Olympia is the old faithful that I've found near my house. Just drank a 12 pack for Halloween, some good shit when you're on a budget, which happens to be all the time for me.

budweiser, what else can I say? i wish schlitz wouldn't have tanked but hey, you gotta live with it. it's the easiest to get, i always find a bottle or glass somewhere, and yeah, its pretty easy to drink. living in oakland has made me drink it like i never have before. i can get olympia, but its really far away and my laziness lends me to the ghetto liq where a bud is the cheapest. so yeah, its palyed, overblown, but i'm not gonna quit drinkin it, its here to stay. and yeah, one time i went to a royals game and they bragged that the bud had been brewed that morning and driven straight to kc from st louis, that seemed pretty damn cool.

once again, the best of the worst. someday i'll get around to rating beers that taste good, but for now i keep finding the beers i love. stag used to be sold in kansas city, but for some unexplainable reason they stopped. a year later on a road trip to chicago i found the cheapest 24 pack i've ever seen at a quik trip in st louis. upon further trips to chicago i found stag in columbia, MO and also shortly past st louis into MO. it's cheap, it looks cool and i'll be damned if it isn't funner than PBR or that rich kid beer bud light.

again, my rating comes from an undisputed love of cheap beer. i appreciate the qualities of a tasty beer, but when i think of old stlye, i judge it against all the other cheap beers in the store. in that regard, old style is the best. i recommend going to 1000 liqours in chicago if you think any differently.
