Last seen drinking Nothing!
About:
Regrettably, I can't afford to drink what I like, nor are many of my favorites easily available here in pathetic NE central IN. (Hoosiers drink, but they don't seem to have very good taste :(
Fischer d'Alasce's bitter lager is definitely the best beer of any kind that I've ever had (pricey and hard to get) - although it's closely followed in my mind by both *genuine* Guinness (not the crap they sell to Americans in bottles now: you have to go abroad to get real Guiness in a bottle, which I actually prefer to what they serve in most Irish bars) or (also discontinued *boo hoo*) Redhook's wonderful Double Black Stout. I don't mind (Tooth) Sheaf Stout or Stingo, although they're a tad sweet for my tastes. Redhook's ESB isn't too bad, and I suppose I can deal with Sam Adam's standard lager. I rarely mess with Pilsners, but if I must, how about a Spaten (AKA "Munich Light")? Or for something more common, a Becks. I don't care much for St. Pauli or Heineken.
I'm a little embarassed to say that I actually enjoy good ol' Ojo Malo ("Evil Eye") because it's got a great kick (with 10%, what do you expect?) and some nice lemony notes. (And it's cheap :) If I end up in a typical bar, I'll see if I can get a Bass or a Harp, but if it's a crappy place, I'll settle for a Miller. If you say "Bud" in my presence, my last meal may unexpectedly reappear. One of these days, I'm going to think about home-brewing.
BTW, I also enjoy wine, but it can't be sweet. (Except the odd port or sherry.) I like a dry, kick-butt cabernet or p. noir, or even a dry chablis. (No Chardonnay please, ick!). And I'm pretty fond of many liquers, esp. anais-based (I love Ricard!!), the orange-based ones (Cointreau, or Grand Marnier), and a nifty little Italien lemon liquer whose name escapes me. Campari?? Bring it on! I also love Champagne, but that's another subject :D (Try this stuff from Spain called Frixinet - don't get the Brut *yecch*, get the Extra Dry!) Not too much hard liquor for this puppy, LOL. Well, maybe a nicely-made Margarita, a homemade wiskey sour (CC, please!), or possibly even the odd grasshopper.

(This is for "Spaten/Munich Light" ... I may not have the correct category. Reviewers - please note, and reclassify as needed, TIA :)
I was first introduced to Spaten at a bar called "First Avenue" in NYC. I've enjoyed it ever since ... it seems to go very well with seafood.
Some have said that it's an average Pilsner. Well, average compared to what? Yes, in it's class, it's not that outstanding, but I think it's lighter, and a little more refreshing than your typical Pilsner.
Let me say that comparisons to Heiniken, St. Pauli, or Grosch are way out of line (Rolling Rock? Please!). Spaten is (IMO) in a different and better class, and at a similar price. I wouldn't serve a typical Pils (that's available here in the States) to my guests, over Spaten.
Especially, if you're serving seafood (BBQ Salmon counts :) ... be sure to offer the guests a twist of lime. I think this is an outstanding Pils for the price, and it looks great in a tall glass. JMHO :)

Let's be serious about this - Ojo Malo ("Evil Eye") is cheap stuff. You can't possibly expect anything fantastic, or even decent for 5 cents an oz.!!
That said, I can't afford to drink Guinness or any of the other beers I like, on a regular basis. Evil Eye is the best cheap beer I've ever had, and one 40 oz. is quite enough to bonk me out. Other than the alcohol content (which is obviously a plus - one 40 oz. is like a 6-pack), I agree with the other reviewers who say that it really doesn't taste too bad ... nice lemony note (c.f. Clash). Yeah, it's sweet, but I think that's in part due to the high alcohol content. As Tressa says, it's kinda like drinking hard liquor, or (more precisely) wine.
Drew says it tastes like crap in a can - I bet that's correct, because the metallic taste of a can is probably not gonna go well with this beer. Get the 40 oz. size in a bottle ... remember you are drinking cheap trash, and just relax! It has a funny way of growing on ya :))
