This is one of my FAVs! I love the smell and the way it tastes and the way it grabs you by the cockles and just wont let go. This is a drinkers beer, a pholosophical brew. After a few of these you'll be singing the philosophers drinking song! Please explain this to your non-monty python watching friends. http://www.adelaide.edu.au/library/guide/hum/philosophy/philos_song.html

This is pure heaven in a glass! Sweet, thin and full of oatmeally goodness. When you hold it up it will block all but the brightest lights and yet the bottle is clear! The fun begins however when the cap is removed. Its a doozy, tough to lock down all the undertones and background flavors but there is some chocolate, strong coffee and oats and malt till the cows come home. pricey but a very nice beer.

This is an absolute balance point for "ice beer" products. The high end guys like Bud dont get any farther up the evolutionary beer scale than this. It has the oomph you expect and some flavor which you may not. If you were expecting a nice "Sam A" for God's sake crack a "Sam A", this is a cheap ICE beer! Serve it as cold as you can and you may actualy enjoy one or three on a swelterring day.

This is a malt "licker". It is an ass whuppin high alc. monster with but one purpose in life. It performs that purpose without fail. It makes no claims to be "Fine" or "Wonderous" or "Delightfull". It wants you to fall down and laugh at how ridiculously inebriated you are after 2 of these unholy beasts. If you openned this bottle looking for after tastes and mouth feel or hints of anything but armageddon; you're in the wrong place jack! Now pass me those salt and vinegar chips......

A dubbel to die for! This is a belgian masterpiece. I have had the pleasure of more than a couple of these beauties and let me tell you, They are allways a reason to smile. There is a lightness to this beer that lies to you about its power. The head leaps from the glass and begs you to jam you nose through it. A long time favorite!
