About:
I am a forty year old Retail Manager for a national chain. I recently discovered "real" beer while searching for somthing to sell my upscale clientel. In the process of my research I stumbled upon Taco Mac and the beer guru who opened my eyes to beer beyond Coors and Bud light. I spent the first 23 years of life pursuing a career as a pugilist and only upon learning that I SUCKED at fighting did I make my night job a full time one and enter my current career path. I enjoy working out, playing Halo2 online, anything outdoors. and trying new beers with my lovely wife.

This one pours a deep dark brown to amber with a HUGE tan head that lingers for a good while. leaves a thick lacing on the glass and smells of all the great stout aromas. (coffee, chocolate, cocoa). The flavor was what really stood out for me. It grabbed my attention right away! Full mouthfeel with a complex finish. This is right up there with my favorite stouts. Very good beer. highly recommend.

Pours a light amber color with a very light white head that evaporates quickly. Lacing is thin and lingers while you drink. It is a bit watery and only a tast of hops in the flavor. I drink one or two of these a week during my trek to the local pub where they have yet to discover really good beer. Its a good alternative to Coors/Bud/ETC. but not a first choice by any means.

Pours a deep red/amber color with an off-white head that is smallish in height. Leaves a fine coating of lace on the glass. The aroma is a little on the sweet/malty side. Nice medium mouthfeel with good balance and complexity. Nice hoppy/bitter finish to the beer. Good stuff. Ill but it again, and again, and again, etc.

Pours a dark yellow to golden color with a white head of small to medium hieght. Leaves little lace on the glass. Smells strongly of hay/grass/straw. The flavor is pretty crisp with no alcohol burn, light bodied. Good enough to drink again. and again.

This is a good beer, but maybe not a good imperial stout! It pours a deep dark brown with a light tan head of medium height. Leaves medium lacing on the glass as consumed. Aroma is what you would expect, coffee, chocolate, and little else. It has a full bodied mouth-feel with some complexity. The finish is wet with a little alcohol coming through and a malty after-taste. Good beer. I would recommend it, but a stout lover will find it a bit bland I think.
