Interesting floral aroma, nice amber color, thin head and decent lacing. Floral (heather, one of the most abundant plants in Scotland) tastes dominate this amber ale. Overall, a unique take on Scots ale.

Poured a deep brown color with thick tan head and chocolate aromas and a bit of lacing. Nice mouthfeel and chocolate tastes. Seaweed tastes and aromas not really aparent.

Strong peachy and flower aromas are immediately present. Nice lacing and amber color. Distinct peachy taste. A very interesting beer, but peachy taste is so overwhelming that I would probably only drink it occasionally.

Have had this twice and was pleasantly surprised each time. This time I bought it at Trader Joe's for a very reasonable price. Red color, nice head and beautiful lacing. The beer has an interesting sweet and tart taste combination and would probably be nice to drink in the summertime or on a special occasion (Thanksgiving, Christmas etc.). Not very beer-y, but that is to be expected with a kriek. Overall, a nice change of pace.
