Aaaaaaaaarrrrr!!! Gross!!! Tastes like some kind of dirty whisky in a can. Not nice. And certainly not for the faint hearted, 'cos it tastes like shit and contains copious amounts of alcohol.

A quality American lager, similar to Budweiser. A crisp and refreshing flavour coupled with a cool 'mouthfeel' make this an enjoyable beer. Good in both cans and bottles, this beer seems to be on offer at the Co-Op / Asda an awful lot. Nice even when room temperature.

A good staple lager for parties. An average aroma and colouring do little to endear the beer, but the above average flavour just about lifts Castlemaine XXXX above a few of it's rivals. A word of warning - do not drink this beer warm, as it will fizz up in your mouth in a most unpleasant manner.

An enjoyable lager, whether drunk from a can or as a pint, due to the fairly distictive 'darkish, ricey' flavour. Stands out from the crowd of bland lagers such as Carling and Fosters. A pleasing hue and a not unpleasant aroma further increase this beer's appeal. Also tastes good when warm (I don't have a fridge).
