A friend of mine bought me this beer at Dépanneur de la rive in Quebec City. The appearance of this beer when poured in my glass was incredible. Besides the deep brown colour of the beer, my glass was filled with so much head that lasted through all my tasting. Never seen so much heead from a beer. Aroma was very spicy. Felt almost rusty in mouth, with not enough character. Overall, the beer was OK, but very refreshing.

A gift from a coworker who travelled to Germany. Appearance got best rating because of golden, clear colour. The rest was average. Not much smell, leaves dry feeling in mouth, taste was almost salty at one point. Very average!

My friend bought this one in Quebec city. Looks almost like soda... dark and clean. The aroma is spicy with some ginger, mixed with caramel. The taste cuts fast, not being to long with no aftertaste. Mouthfeel is light... no character. Lacks creaminess overall.

Wow ! Poured a deep brown colour with a medium head and some lacing. Aromas of chocolat and coffee. Tasted lots of different flavours. Found some cola taste in it. Sparkling mouthfeel. I really enjoyed this one.

Poured a black colour with some head and some lacing. Nose was of toffee and coffee. Tasted bitter and lightly smoked. The mouthfeel was kind of creamy. I liked this one.
