I picked up a 6 pack of this at Trader Joe's not long ago. It was tremendously inexpensive. How bad could it be? Yes, THAT bad. The beer pours a light straw color with very little hops or malt flavor and a thin head. I tried it straight from the can, as well as from a glass, and came to the decision that if I were a coors light drinker, it'd be fairly happy. That's about as generous as i'll be with this review, and that's about all there is to say.

Big bubbles and a light yellow color are, perhaps the best features of this beer. At first whiff I thought I smelled a real pilsner, but after a sip, I realized that I was horribly wrong. The light color gives in to a fairly weak taste. Although certainly a step above Bud, this isn't a beer I'll be seeking again. Urquel and Budvar are much better.

Love this beer - great clean pilsner crisp, herbal, dry; and pretty to boot. Wish I could find this more easily. The lucky chap in Hobart is stuck on the other side of the planet with all of the good beer.

I do enjoy this beer. Unadulterated lager goes down easy and is pleasantly refreshing. Nice after a season of heavy ales. Although not exceptional, I highly recommend it. As someone mentioned before, not the most fragrant, but also doesn't exhibit that becks/heineken skunkiness ;).

As the previous reviewer mentioned, the best thing about this beer is that it's something mildly interesting (read: different/not macroswill) making it to the market. Pretty average overall and not esp. memorable. I'd drink it again though.
