Delightful is an understatement! Too long has this beer been denied us by AB's lawyers! Finally, under the name Czechvar, some states are selling it. Sweet, with a slightly bitter hop, the finish is pleasant and maybe just a little fruity.

Perhaps unfair to comapre it to Framboise, but whattayagonna do? An excellent, light and bubbly beverage, with a sweet, tangy flavor, it makes a great beverage for strolling through the parks of enlightened cities, just enjoying life. Just maybe a little metallic at times, but not enough to offend.

Although I love Guinness, I cannot help but prefer it from the tap. Something about the can just doesn;t do it for me. Maybe it is just my imagination, but I seem to pick up a bit of a metallic taste when I consume the canned variety. Still, it beats a lot of other beers, doesn't it?

Just a terrific old standby, I cannot ever claim to have gotten a "skunked" bottle. Maybe I am just fortunate in that matter...given a choice, I will take this beer over 95% of anything else served in bars around my home. That is, unless I want something heavy, which this is not.

One of my favorite Czech beers- and I am partial to Czech beers- this one stands out for its bright, crisp and fresh flavor, without ever getting "light."
