The best thing about this brew was the cool pheasant on the can. It brought back memories of the old 21 different nature scene can varieties from yesteryear. All in all, a basic average tasting lager with slightly above average appearance.

The chelada style of this beer makes it go well with Mexican food, otherwise it does not work that well for me unless it's in the middle of the summer. Decent for its catagory, but not that great against the entire spectrum of what's out there.

Not bad for a basic lager, plus it is good to see another retro label come back with some respectability. Aroma is average and nice, while appearance is a nice, clear light amber. Mouthfeel is decent, although the taste has an edge going out. Overall, an average, but respectable brew. On a historical note, I can still remember going to Milwaukee Brewer games as a kid back in the early to mid '70's when the beer vendors walked the aisles of County Stadium shouting "Cold Schlitz! Cold Shlitz!" Of course by then, the formulation was probably altered and things were headed down hill for once giant in the industry. It's sad, but, again, it's good to see the namesake back with some respectability.

For a light lager, I would rate OM light as one of the better ones currently out there. It has a decent mouth feel and taste relative to other 'light' beers. The aroma is bit off though. Now comparing it with the whole spectrum of beers is a whole different story. Saying that though, I can see why it is the most highly awarded light beer during the past decade.

This is a very tasty, very smooth wheat brew. I was really impressed by both the taste and mouth feel. I left a nice follow-up taste as well. It is certainly in my list of best wheat beers!
