I picked this up because this is the only malt liquor that is sold in 6 packs in my area. I wasn't in the mood for a 40 oz. This malt liquor is probably the most "beer like" tasting brew around. It does not have the over powering corn taste to it like Olde English or Colt 45. It also retains its flavor no matter how long you drink it unlike Steel Reserve. It is not a hangover or headache inducer and it is slightly cheaper than other brands for a 6 pack so that is why I gave it a 7 overall.

This is my go to beer. If I am drinking in a bar or at a party this is what I pick up. After reading the reviews other people say, I think they enjoy it but they don't want to admit they enjoy a domestic beer. This is much better tasting than Bud or Miller. I like the slightly sweet taste and it does not taste watered down to me (to me watered down is the taste of Light Beer). The blue mountain device telling when the beer is cold is really cool, and I like how the can looks.

This is a strong lager that really caught me by surprise. The first drink tasted like a strong beer, but every one after that tasted like whiskey. It doesn't matter if the drink is ice cold or starting to warm, it does not taste like beer at all. I did like its aroma, it smells like sweet corn. The appearance and mouth feel are the same, thick and slightly fizzy. There is only a small head to speak of, even after shaking the bottle. Overall this is a decent malt liquor, you get what you pay for. I just wish the taste was a little more like beer.

This is the first malt liquor that I have tried. Unlike other brands, this one never made me struggle to finish it. It actually tastes like a strong beer the whole way through, even when it warms up. The mouthfeel is slightly watery compared to its double malt cousin. Its aroma is like a strong odor of corn (kind of like an ethanol plant). Its appearance is more pale than other malt liquors. I suggest this beer be served as cold a possible to ensure maximum flavor. Never tried it from a can.
