A very popular beer around these parts, especially for the ladies. Watery taste, sometimes bitter, always predictably boring with a dull appearance. The advertising with the blue on the label is catchy and a good marketing tool. Although I am not a big fan of the beer, I must commend their marketers for supplying my family with Coors Memorabilia for our yearly golf outing for a lost loved one. My allegiance to the beer "occasionally" is out of respect for their gratuitous gestures during our memorial golf tourneys.. As far as the beer goes. Well, it falls short in every category but my two girls love it and if the women are happy, everything is just peachy.

Although this beer takes a bad wrap, I kind of enjoy it. No, it's not the greatest beer but it's 5% ABV is above the average and the taste is clean and the finish is not bad either. I had this on draught while in Orlando, FLA at a Carabba's Restaurant and could have done many more. Never heavy on the stomach, never bloats and flushes out nicely. The appearance is dark and noticable with a respectful head. I enjoy it and I know I'm in the minority.

Although this is the ONLY beer my brother buys and we socialize frequently, I find this beer "the morning after migraine." There's just something about this beer that doesn't satisfy me. It could be the over all taste or the morning after but there are many choices I would go with before I touched this one.

Amstel Light is one of those beers you can never get tired of. I was surprised at it's weak ABV and I usually try to get it on draught. I have purchased several 6 and 12 packs that were skunked but it's usually right on and a beer I can drink all night without the Bud Light headache.

Stella Artois is one of those heavy feeling imports, usually tasting better on draught from the local brewery. Sometimes skunked, it can leave an after-taste but it's unique taste when it's on, usually hits the spot. The beer pours nicely with a bright yellow body and bright white head which dissapates quickly. Usually, if it's on tap, I'll order but I have bought too many skunked 6 packs to continue to buy it.
