The Two Henrys Brewing Company brews modern and traditional hand-crafted beer styles in small batches in Plant City, FL. Because local and small is just better. With our beers we celebrate Florida’s short history and people that made our great state possible. We strive to make great beers and sneak in a Florida history lesson whether you want it or not. Our beers can be found at our tasting room starting on or about October 1, 2013 and select bars and restaurants in the Tampa Bay area. In the meantime, read about our coming beers and namesakes, the Two Henrys, below…or don’t. Henry B. Plant Plant saw his chance following the Civil War while the railroads were in ruins. Plant knew Florida would make an economic comeback, and ended up at the forefront. He purchased the bankrupt railroad companies and laid 1,200 miles of track and built many grand hotels. Tampa was the hub of his railroads and the home to his extravagant Tampa Bay Hotel. Henry M. Flagler Flagler was in large part responsible for the development of the east coast of Florida. With money he made from the oil industry, Flagler began work on his own hotels and railroads. He hoped to better transport and accommodate Florida’s visitors and residents. He ran his tracks up and down the east coast and built many hotels along the way including The Hotel Ponce De Leon in St. Augustine.
