Links: Sign Up to Participate:Welcome to the Rapp Brewing Company! Greg Rapp, our brewmaster, started making wine over 30 years ago. He later added sake and mead making. Eight years ago he received a beer making kit for Christmas and soon found himself with a hobby that was outgrowing his house! Two years ago he founded the Pinellas Urban Brewers Guild - a home brewing club, which quickly grew to over 100 members! The club attended many craft beer events in the area where Greg was able to get feedback on his beers from thousands of craft beer aficionados. The overwhelming response was "Wow! Where can I buy this beer?". So, after over 200 batches and many awards he decided to follow his passion and open a brewery... We area nano sized brewery in the heart of Pinellas County Florida. We specialize in small batch, hand crafted, artisanal Ales and Lagers. We focus on creativity - exploring beer styles and variations on them. We also brew styles that have long been thought lost and artfully create brews reminiscent of ages long ago. We plan on limited distribution and instead desire to focus on direct interaction with craft beer enthusiasts. Our brewery includes a 650 sq. ft. tasting room designed to provide the perfect atmosphere for craft beer lovers to meet, sample our creations, and discuss their thoughts about our beers with us and their peers. This is a great place to meet friends and explore all the interesting beers we will have on tap. We also plan on hosting periodic events - maybe monthly, which will include special release beers, food, and entertainment.
