Welcome to philadelphia's steaks & hoagies. Since opening in 1987, we have established a reputation for outstanding food and, more recently, fine local hand-crafted beers. Philadelphia's is owned by Steve and Amelia Moore. We opened down the street originally, where Papa Murphy's is now located. We were there for 5 1/2 years. There were just the two of us for the first two years. We were open monday - friday from 11 am to 6 pm. The business slowly grew and in 1993 we purchased the building we are now in. We were closed for three months while we remodeled. We added the brewery in december 1994. The brewery was largely developed under the watchful eye of Andy Armstrong. Today we have 11 different beers on tap that are made here, giving us one of the largest selections of in house brewed beers available anywhere. We have received mentions at the oregon brewers festival a couple of years in a row. We believe that service is the only real foundation of business.
