Links: Sign Up to Participate:The Oyster Brewery (of Isle of Seil Brewery) opened in the tiny village of Ellenabeich on the Isle of Seil not far from Oban. Work on the brewery started in November 2004 and the first brews emerged the following spring. The brewery employs a state-of-the-art brewhouse and produces ales and lagers in both cask and bottled format. The brewhouse was transferred from its former home in West Yorkshire by Head Brewer Andy Gascoigne. Cask ales are on tap at the brewery/restaurant but not usually all at the same time.
