MillKing It Productions (a.k.a…MIP) was founded in 2010 with a singular mission: To strip down all pretensions and preconceived notions of the craft brewing industry and create a truly memorable and focused catalog of fine beers. MIP does not have a sampling room or bar. We brew a limited number of stylistically and historically accurate beers. We will not jump from marketing wave to wave. We will not brew unbalanced fad beers. We will never put fruit, vegetables or other gimmicks into our beer. Finally, all beers will be packaged in draft, cask and what we see as the most responsible and best individual container…Aluminum Cans. We are the real deal. Our team of brewing professionals has a combined industry experience of over 55 years. We are not some “Johnny come lately” jumping on the trendy craft beer scene. We are lifers. We breathe, sleep and of course drink the brewing universe. Our team consists of Kristy Smith and Scott King of the pioneering King Brewing Co. (est.1994, RIP 2009) Our modest, traditional brewery is located at 4847 Delemere Ave., Royal Oak Michigan. We are actively engaged in our local community. We practice low impact brewing techniques and believe local beer can change a community.
