They are based at an industrial unit in Fairfield Drive and is the brainchild of Dave Kelly and Ian Davies. The Brewery uses traditional floor malted Maris Otter barley and Worcestershire hops with a hint of American hops to provide more aroma. They produce up to 180 gallons in one brew using their five barrel brewery purchased from Brewsters brewery in East Midlands. The beers were launched to the general public at the Dudley Winter Ales fair (Nov 2004), with extra supplies having to be drafted in after quickly selling out.
