This facility derives its uniqueness and atmosphere from the building in which it is housed, a fire hall originally built in 1911. The building was totally renovated in 1992 winning an award for restoration of a "heritage site". The Hose is now a fully functioning brew pub offering a variety of specialty hand crafted products including five award winning beers (see oak mill work, and a host of interesting antiques and artifacts throughout its three levels. In addition to its upper and main bar, the Hose offers a games and pool table area, a dance floor and an outdoors patio.
