Henry’s Midtown Tavern is a food-centric restaurant featuring a menu of appetizers, pastas, sandwiches, entrée salads and fabulous desserts. Located in Midtown Atlanta on bustling 10th Street in the heart of Midtown, Henry’s welcomes people who crave a good atmosphere as much as great food. Named for owner Maureen Kalmanson’s dog, Henry’s offers an ideal mix of high-end and casual. Walk through the reclaimed barn wood doors into the spacious interior, home to two bars and seating for 160. The neutral palette inside is found on milk chocolate walls and dark chocolate booths with textured reclaimed wood columns and recycled industrial pipe lighting designed by Dryads Dancing. Much of the material used at Henry’s was culled from the building’s renovation and from tobacco barns in North Georgia and North Carolina. Henry’s has television screens throughout, but it’s not strictly a sports bar, so expect to see season premieres and award shows as often as the latest championship game. As gorgeous as it is inside Henry’s (don’t miss the “Dog Wall of Fame”), the patios might offer the most popular seating. In fact, go ahead and bring your own “Henry” to relax outside with you.
