Hallertau, a small place in Bavaria, where in 736AD a couple of fine characters began cultivating hops for the first time. What brilliant foresight they had. So, it’s with a nod to their great innovation, and the home of hops, that we named our brewery – Hallertau, the home of hopping good beer. Made the traditional way, we use nothing but water, yeast, hops and barley. That’s all, no trickery with artificial pokery. Just the simple things done properly. Like sourcing the best and freshest ingredients. Like using only the water that falls from the sky. We believe the smallest tweaks make the biggest difference. And hence, we use our own hands and noses to carefully choose our hops and subtly combine them for taste-bud tickling arrangements and aromatic sensations that flow directly from our chilled tanks to your waiting glass.
