Drug Emporium is a locally owned and operated establishment that has been providing quality service at three stores in Huntington, Charleston and Kanawha City, W.Va., for over 20 years. In 2005 Drug Emporium acquired Nicholas Pharmacy in Summersville, W.Va., which is one of Summersville’s leading neighborhood pharmacies. Since the opening of the first store in Barboursville in 1986, Drug Emporium has continually created full and part-time jobs in the communities it serves. Today, Drug Emporium employs nearly 200 West Virginians. In 2000, Drug Emporium branched out and opened the area's first Healthy Life Market. The Healthy Life Market is located inside each Drug Emporium location, and provides an assortment of natural and organic health foods. In 2008, in an effort to increase the accessibility of prescriptions, medical equipment and other items found in Drug Emporium and its Healthy Life Market, the company began their home delivery service. This allows individuals to fulfill any and all of their drug and health store needs with one phone call. In 2009, to help our customers who do not have health coverage Drug Emporium has joined the Good Neighbor Pharmacy network. This exclusive network offers its members access to low cost generic prescriptions. Drug Emporium customers who opt to participate in this program get access to a very large number of generic prescriptions for $4.00 for 30-Day supplies and $10.00 for 90-Day supplies. Drug Emporium not only offers some of the best prescription prices around but also provides private patient counseling at no cost to the customer. This allows any questions a customer may have about their prescription to be answered in a quiet and private manner.
