Darwin Brewing Company brews artisan ales and lagers influenced by the flavors and spices of South America’s Andean and Amazonian Regions. Darwin Brewing Company traces its roots back to January 2012 on a modest brewing system within the brewpub Darwin’s on 4th. Chef Darwin Santa Maria opened Darwin’s on 4th offering authentic Andean cuisine to the communities of Bradenton and Sarasota. As Darwin’s on 4th became known throughout the culinary world, Brewmaster Jorge Rosabal began crafting artisan brews to pair with the brewpub's cuisine. Through beer dinners, festivals, and word of mouth, Rosabal’s brews have become a staple of the burgeoning Florida craft beer landscape. In 2013, Rosabal expanded operations to DBC's fifteen-barrel production facility, taproom, and beer garden in Bradenton, Florida.
