Links: Sign Up to Participate:It took from 1993 to early 2004 for the Cuillin Brewery at Sligachan on Isle of Skye to move from idea to inception. The old public bar at Sligachan Hotel was transformed from a storage area into the brewery today. The 5 barrel brewing plant was purchased from AB Bottling UK having been originally installed at the Physician and Firkin pub in Edinburgh. Brewing commenced on 10 September 2004. The brewery produces four cask ales regularly as well as doing various special bottlings. The beers are available at Seamus's Bar at the Sligachan Hotel.
