After chasing her net towards several professions and destinations around the world, Lucy- the original Crazy Sista- let her love for simple Southern cuisine lead her back to the place she loved…Lower Alabama. In 1999 Lucy opened what she described as "a dive of a shack" at the mouth of the Fish River and called it LuLu's Sunset Grill. On a sunny day in 2003, Lucy loaded everything onto an enormous barge and literally moved the entire establishment- complete with palm trees, margaritas and a live band- down the Intracoastal Waterway to its new home! LuLu's at Homeport Marina in Gulf Shores remains an authentic Gulf Coast experience. Its charm is simple- waterfront, fabulous food, live music every night, and an ocean of fun! It remains the mothership of the Crazy Sista Empire. Come join us for a Crazy Sista Honey Ale at our Barge Bar, or a Crazy Sista Bloody Mary fresh from the Bama Breeze.
