Brú Brewery

Brú Brewery was established in July 2013 after a couple of years researching, planning and developing by co-founders Paddy Hurley and Daire Harlin with a view to offering the Irish Beer drinker a greater choice in craft beer; emphasizing premium quality, craft and tradition. The brewery is located on the banks of the river Boyne in the historic town of Trim, County Meath. The philosophy of the brewery is to produce not only great tasting Irish craft beer, but that they are 100 % naturally brewed and chemical free. Brú Brewery only uses the best of ingredients : naturally filtered water, to remove all ions (including chlorine and fluorine ), hops that are full leaf cone, but most of all, the brewery is all about being Irish and supporting the local economy. Brú Brewery is very proud that it sources its base malts in Ireland. The brewery is 15 BBL size. A water treatment process to assist in the extraction of main water additives has been installed as well extra chillers and unitank maturation tanks. These additions are to allow beer the highest quality and consistency to be brewed. Since the brewery's installation, a mezzanine level and N2 generation system have been bought in. The brewery is equipped with a small tasting room which will soon be put to use for brewery tours. All of the craft beers are available either on draft or as bottles and for special events the brewery produces casks of its beers and stouts. In line with the brewery's philosophy, every beverage is brewed with the utmost of care in order to deliver a fully satisfying experience to all of our customers.
