About Bridge Brew Works Craft Brewery We are the owners and operators of Bridge Brew Works, Ken Linch and Nathan Herrold. We have a love for the World's many great beer styles and a dedication for following traditional brewing methods using only the best ingredients. Our pension for quality is evident in the distinctive beers we brew. We share an interest in the details of craft brewing: the subtle differences that different techniques and ingredients can make while always creating high quality beer that tastes amazing. We soon realized that our common interest, along with knowledge, experience, and passion, made for a great partnership. There were many reasons to choose Fayetteville, West Virginia near the New River Gorge and the famous New River Gorge Bridge for our brewery. Nathan had spent fifteen years in Fayetteville as a local river and fishing guide and we both love the community, the many outdoor opportunities, and the natural beauty of the area. We also saw a true need for a craft brewery in Southern West Virginia as many beer styles haven't been readily available in WV. Bridge Brew Works is solely a brewery so we can focus completely on the beer. We serve local and regional restaurants and retailers as well as walk-in customers who want something special for their party or their kegerator. Bridge Brew Works hopes to make a lasting connection with everyone in West Virginia who enjoys craft brewed beer, and those who just don't know it yet. Nathan Herrold Nathan had been home brewing for over ten years before he spent four years learning the ins and outs of small commercial brewing at West Virginia Brewing Company as the assistant brewer. He then began planning his own commercial brewery for the New River Gorge area. Ken Linch Ken had been creating and perfecting his own home brews for over thirteen years before partnering with Nathan. Over the years, he has accumulated a vast amount of applied knowledge of beer styles and traditional methods. After retiring from the U.S. Public Health Service in 2008, Ken joined forces with Nate and plans for a brewery began to take shape.
