After many years of home brewing, the milk stout recipe won two awards at the 2018 Oktoberfest home brewing competition in Vankleek Hill. With encouragement from friends and family, the co-founders decided to bring this flagship beer to the craft market. The company is based in Manotick and gets its name from the 13th lockstation on the Rideau Canal.
